This has been my all time favorite Airbnb stay! The space was beautiful and very well stocked with anything you may need! Beds were extremely comfortable! It was the outside that won us over! Incredible sunsets and fishing at the pond! Lacie was honestly the best host. Very responsive and so laid back we all felt right at home!

Romance Meets Historic Flint Hills Downtown Loft

WinRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I felt fortunate to reserve the suite a day before heading to Council Grove for the Kanza PowWow, and so glad i did. Nicky communicated with me immediately after i reserved and was always in touch with me with directions, and how to get in, as well as amenities of the suite. The bldg is right on Main St, which was perfectly located for us. The suite is gorgeously decorated and had everything we needed and more. The claw foot rub in the bedroom was like stepping back in time and, what a great soak! I cooked breakfast and we ate out on the deck, which was so nice. I can't recommend the suite enough. It's the perfect location for a Flint Hills trip!

Unique Paw Print Cabin nestled in the Flint Hills!

AnnieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was our second time visiting Paw Print Cabin for a weekend family getaway, and we hope to return again someday soon. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfy stay: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, games to play as a family. The surrounding land was fun to hike through and explore. Our kids had a lot of fun playing by the creek, and we all had fun on several outings to nearby attractions (Tallgrass Prairie and Chase State Fishing Lake). We'd highly recommend Fur N' Feather's Paw Print Cabin, and look forward to coming back again in the future.

The Loft at The Volland Store

MaudeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I loved the Loft! So special to get away from it all in a historic building. the space is small, but well equipped. Beautiful art adorns the wall, the bathroom was luxurious, the kitchen is small but well suited for a couple day retreat. I was there visiting for a bike race and spent a few days before the event outside of town, riding the course around Volland. The roads are stunning and the scenery was beautiful. Maddy was a great host and very easy to communicate with.

1930's Bungalow on the Flint Hills

CarlRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Garrett's description of his place is accurate. It is like visiting your grandmother's home in the country. Rustic would be a reasonable description. The crucial items are all there. Good water pressure. Hot water. Multiple window A/C units and ceiling fans. The WiFi was robust. We didn't use the TV. The only real drawback is that Alta Vista is a VERY small town with little to offer. It has one grocery store, which is really a convenience store, rather than a grocery store. And seemingly the only retail establishment in town. A real grocery store is down in Council Grove. We stayed there because my son rode in a bicycle race over the gravel roads in the area, and much of the tough part of the course was in this area, making it a great location for us. There is an active railroad track just a block away, but you just hear the trains rumble past, and fortunately they don't blast their whistle. Garrett was very accomodating. For two guys, it worked perfectly.
