The Papaya Home is lovely! The grounds are beautiful, staff is warm, hospitable, and super friendly. Florence and Jennifer are wonderful cooks! Our best meals in Kampala were at the Papaya Home. We would definitely stay here again.

Andrew’s place is sparkling clean. Room service is available every day. We appreciate the helpfulness of the staffs in this hotel. They are also very courteous and accommodative. Although there’s no air-conditioning, the pleasant weather somehow makes up for it. The hotel is safe. It’s value for money. Will love to return.

I don't think I have ever given 5 stars in every category, but this deserved it. We went there for our anniversary and not only did they have the room fully decked out and decorated for us, all the staff were giving us well wishes, room service was incredible, breakfast was included which I did not realize when booking (which was fantastic) and the staff were just incredible, this is a rare gem in Uganda

A little hick-up for the first night being reallocated, but taken care of by Azhar perfectly, all was great! Great location, good amenities and restaurants around. Would definitely stay here again!
