Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Victoria

This place was awesome. Very beautiful home and the host was very responsive. I will definitely stay here every time I am in Eldoret with family. It’s very clean, well furnished with high end furniture. It’s very secure with electric fence and automatic gate opening. Also have washer and dryer. Open kitchen and big backyard for kids to play Very close to Eldoret city Centre and located at the centre of both Nakuru and Kisumu highway plus very close to Eldoret international airport. Keep up the good work

Really enjoyed staying at Ian & Julie's beautiful home. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, cozy living room and peaceful environment that the house is located in. Ian and Julie are super hosts - they were very accommodative to our early check in request as we were travelling with kids. Julie was amazing in directing us to the house and also organizing a great breakfast for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Edward is a wonderful host and the place was off the chain. I booked the wrong date coz I was driving from kisii to Nakuru and he is the one who told me my day was wrong but still accommodated us. I always use my bath tub back home in Texas and guess what 😇 it was my first time taking a nice warm bath in Kenya. I will be back with my 3 daughters this summer. Wonderful host and the lady on site was also wonderful. We were there for just a night but was worth every second en ohhhhh coz is was cold when we got there the fire place was already turned on so we got into a warm peaceful house where I took a glass of my Jonnie walker and went to sleep like a baby because there is also security at the gate a pool and a beautiful garden. Simple en nice 🥂🇰🇪🇺🇸

I was crashing for one night before I headed to the airport, but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. What a great way to end my stay in Kisumu! The view has to be the greatest highlight. The place was also spotless and had everything I needed. Also, the house is very well located, about 20-25 minutes to the airport. If you don’t have a car, you will need to hire one or plan for a cab in advance (otherwise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main road if you need to use public transportation). Brian was very accommodating, letting me drop my bags off early and checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it! He’s an extremely warm and welcoming host.

We had a happy time there. The communikation and the house was very nice. Also we had support nearby. Our evaluations are under the standards of african, not european view. First we had some problems to find the accomodation and after calls with the owner we reached the house. Some help at the house was very ambitious and helpful for us. The missing WLAN was covered with a working alternative so we are happy then.

We found a second home in Eldoret. Andreas and his family welcomed us superbly. There was nothing lacking. Meals were offered by arrangement. The dog is very sweet, especially to children. A clear recommendation. We will be happy to come back.

STAYING AT DAVID'S PLACE WAS A GREAT PLEASURE FOR THE COMPLETE FAMILY.DAVID IS A GREAT HOST AND HAD KEPT EVERYTHING READY FOR US UPTO THE LAST DETAIL INCLUDING SETTING UP OF A BED FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER ,WHICH WAS A GREAT TOUCHING GESTURE FOR ME.HE WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE AND LOOKED AFTER EVERY NEED OF OURS IMMEDIATELY.THE PLACE IS WELL DONE AND LOCATION IS GREAT VERY NEAR TO TALEK GATE.DAVID IS A GREAT PERSON AND BEING A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER,HE WAS KIND AND NOT ONLY OFFERED US BUT WENT AHEAD AND DID A PHOTO SESSION FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.A HIPPO ALSO GAVE US A VISIT AT NIGHT.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO MAKE THEIR EXPERIENCE OF MASAI MARA GREAT!!!WILL DEFINATELY VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN !!!
