Wow! What an amazing place to stay. Absolutely beautiful setting with so many activities to enjoy. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful and kept very clean. The 1 bedroom park model we stayed in was very clean and decorated so cute. It had everything you would need plus more! We rented a UTV and enjoyed all the trails they have to offer. The staff are amazing and always willing to answer any questions or give any suggestions that you need. Ron was amazing during our entire stay. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!! I cannot wait to go back!!

My wife and I enjoy making weekend trips to Broken Bow. Not so much for Broken Bow, but because the cabin, woods, and mountains are fun. But it is a 3 hour drive, 6 hours round trip. We decided to try this out because it was an hour drive from Dallas. The cabin is very nice. It is very secluded. It is a nice, serene area surrounding by trees with a nice fishing pond out front. We did not fish, but we did watch a crane that swimming and flying in and out of the fishing pond. I worked during the day using very good and reliable WiFi. Our only issue was not being able to make the outdoor speakers work with our streaming device - and the host offered to help - but I just decided it wasn't that important and so I didn't reply to the offer to help. We will be back for sure. Very peaceful. And I really liked the proximity to Dallas. You could go to Lake Tawakoni - we did not. I have been before, but it was not the purpose of the trip. Will stay again and recommend to others.

We love this little cabin. We had an event in Waco during part of our stay and decided the drive was worth saving the money on a hotel room for one night. I am always grateful for a heads up when the cabin is ready and wonderful communication during our trip to see if we needed anything or how things were going.

If you are wanting a nice, quiet place to escape all of life’s craziness, this is the place for you! We loved the quiet, peacefulness. It is far enough out get away from everything yet close enough to several things to do. The cabin was lovely and very clean.

Beautiful, spacious cottage that was very well appointed and spotless, sitting on a secluded lot on a paved road with next to zero traffic. Beautiful outside, sitting area with fire pit, hot tub, and charcoal grill. Wrap around porch area with comfortable rocking chairs and Adirondack furniture top to place off.

We travel about 3-4 times a year and specifically look for cabins with a hot tub. This is probably about the 20th place that we have stayed and it is by far the best. We can’t wait to come back when it’s cooler… hopefully in October! Special thanks to Marcia and her husband for such a warm and inviting place and for being such great people. You guys are the best! Thank you!

Anna cabin was absolutely perfect for a little get away from the city life. The only thing you could hear was nature as it's a very private location. The cabin itself is beautiful and a lot bigger than I excepted! Highly recommend this stay!

We stayed for just one night with our pups and it was perfect for a quick getaway. Kathleen was very clear in her instructions and check in was easy and quick. The pups loved roaming along the path in front of the house. Would definitely stay again!

My second time staying always happy with my stay!

We had a great time at the Skip's! The location was honestly beautiful and we had a lovely time swimming in the lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed! Checking in and out was a breeze and we had no real issues the entire time! The kitchen was fully furnished so we only had to provide the food/ingredients (and charcoal for the grill), which was really nice! The bedrooms were clean and each one had a tv. The bathrooms were also clean and stocked! They also had some decent board games available! The only "problem" we had was one of our vehicles was a car that was lower to the ground and did not like the steep hills required for going in and out of the driveway. Skip did mention the hills so we weren't blindsided, but our smaller car still struggled. Our truck had no issues, so if you have a car lower to the ground, go very slow (though you still might bottom out)!!

This home is absolutely beautiful! My family and I love nature and this home exceeded our expectations. we felt right at home. This home is suitable for those who love the outdoor experience. Nearby Trinity River, Richard Chambers Lake and much more! This home will be our to go home each time we visit to do our Gar fishing and lake adventures 😀.

Rebecca is a lovely host was responded quickly from my initial inquiry to follow up questions. Check in was easy and the space was cozy, clean, peaceful, and my favorite part was getting to feed the cows. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning for a visit.

Took my gbabies for a night little pricey for one night yet worth it, with a kayak and 3 seat boat, beautiful place, fish were biting, they were so thrilled and didn't want to leave!! I will definitely do this again!!

The cabin was beautiful. it was so peaceful to sit outside. We saw plenty of deer that came right in the backyard, we also saw some fox. My 7 year old granddaughter loved seeing all of the wildlife. I would definitely stay there again. Just wish I had more time to enjoy the amenities.

Great place to stay, only downfall was the roads getting to where we was staying. Was able to park my boat and charge my batteries with the extension cord that I had brought.

This house was wonderful and very beautiful. It is pretty secluded and private. The nature surroundings are serene and tranquil. Great place to escape the hustle and noise of the city. The host Zach and Taylor were exceptional. Promptly responded to my questions and request!

This was mine and my husbands second time to come and stay. We love this place! It’s quiet, relaxing and just feels like home! We were able to walk the trails and fish and even went to town for breakfast one morning. Only thing I wish was that some of the branches be cleared away from the edges of the fishing areas and possibly some benches in the walking trails so you can sit and just enjoy the peacefulness. Aside from that everything is perfect!! We will definitely be back to stay again and have even recommended this place to multiple people!!!

If you are looking for a place to relax and decompress, this is it. The house is updated, rustic, and chic. Wife saw the ice maker and got excited! First night we lost power and woke up but the storm sounds put us back to sleep. The sounds and sights of wildlife were beautiful. Swamp serenade as they say! The sway isn't bad, wife had to grab walls and counters the first morning for it is different when you walk around, trying to find caffeine. We did not spend much time inside at all. Spent $20 on bug repellant and not one blood sucker decided to make a withdraw, with not having to put any of the protection on. We will be using it at home. Look for the otters playing mid morning, they stopped when the wife was talking to them. The catfish that mocked me after getting away still lives. When fishing from the dock keep short line and always CAST LEFT!!!! Purely an enjoyable place and the hosts were always responsive, will definitely book again. 5 stars!!!!!

If you are looking for a peaceful place just to relax and enjoy a stunningly beautiful view this cabin is for you. Scott was a super great host and the cabin was as charming as the pictures. Only warning , getting to a nice restaurant will take some driving, but the place is so well equipped eating in is not an issue. Highly recommend!!
