Holiday rentals with a sauna in Lake Simcoe

Huong’s place was perfect for our girls weekend. It was a 2 minute drive from Vetta Spa. The place was easy to find, had easy check in and Huong was very responsive when we had questions. Foodland is a 5-10 minute drive away if you forget or need anything. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the place was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

Great place for a family of 4! We stayed here the weekend for my son’s tournament. Host was responsive and very friendly. Place had enough privacy for adults and room to entertain the kids! Highly recommended! 5 stars!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Ilyia’s place. She was very responsive and really tried to accommodate all our requests. The basement is spacious and the kitchen is lovely. I also really appreciate the painting that she made for our daughter. Thank you Ilyia! Few things I would comment is that the hot tub isn’t very clean. Lotss of dirt and leaves floating which we cleaned before use but we also found a bunch of hair at the bottom of the tub. The backyard chairs and table also need some cleaning. The bedsheets and blankets smelled musty/old which I don’t mind but my kids tend to smell everything and a bit bothered. However overall, we had a fun birthday weekend and I still give it a 5 star. Perfect for small event/gathering. Thanks again Ilyia and Larissa!

Sean is very Friendly and Professional. He responds to messages quickly. He is an amazing host where he is checking in on us ensuring if we needed anything he is only a phone call away. We have been going to the Resort for years. Easy to get too, very peaceful and the Units are so simple but nice. Not many places take pets but Sean's does which helped us alot. The beds are super comfortable, probably the best sleep I have had in a long time. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our Stay. The Kids loved the gym to work out and then we spend quite a few hours at the pool. The fire pit was nice to sit at especially with the chilly weekend we just had. We will be back for sure to be Sean's Guest.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we booked, communication with the host was prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful, making our arrival completely seamless. The apartment itself was even better than the photos – sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the plush towels in the bathroom to the well-stocked kitchen, which made preparing meals a breeze. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after our days of exploring. The location was truly perfect for our trip. It offered easy access to everything we wanted to see and do, yet felt like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We particularly enjoyed the quiet mornings on the balcony. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay, offering excellent local recommendations and always being available for any questions. Their hospitality truly made this experience stand out.

We had a lovely stay at Anuheas. It was a perfect spot to relax. Will stay here again.

Elijah’s place was very spacious, homey, clean, and as described; the bed was very comfortable and all the appliances worked as described; we didn’t need to ask for anything additionally and they were kind enough to offer us a checkout time of 12pm which meant we didn’t need to rush in the morning; will highly recommend to everyone wanting to visit the local trails, beautiful patches of nature and Vettä spa, as it’s practically walking distance

Yifeng was very responsive with his messages and always helpful, checking in with messages to me to make sure I was ok and didn’t need anything. Very friendly and courteous.

Had a great stay! Very comfortable, clean and great communication from Vlad! Had a high chair available for use which was a nice touch! The only feedback we would give would be it would be nice to have more than two towels for a family especially being that there’s a pool but that was no big deal! Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Robert’s place! Just a short walk to the subway that took us right into downtown Toronto. Great views of the city from the balcony. Nice area with friendly people. We will be back! Thank you Robert

Everything was as described. It was great to have a guest sweet so the teenagers had a place to hang out. Had fun in the pool and with the ping pong table. Great value.

Apart from the unhelpful concierge and difficult on foot instructions to access the lock key, our stay was absolutely perfect. The apartment suited our needs and there was plenty of space to work and relax. The bedroom with the ensuite didn't have any closet space so one of us had to use the closet in the hallway. Not a massive deal for 6 nights stay, but it might be a little frustrating if you have a longer stay. There was plenty of amenities and the kitchen was stocked well with cutlery, pots and pans. The apartment had a nice ambience, clean and welcoming and was also quiet. The gym was a fab bonus which we made use of most of the days. The subway was within 6-7 minutes walk, which made our trips into downtown Toronto a breeze. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to do so if we come back to Toronto.

Very nice apartment, with an exceptional view, swimming pool and gym, public land and visible from the apartment which is not far from it. Very nice bedding. Well located, next to the subway. Bonus: parking included. Great concierge and thanks to Harit the receptionist. A perfect stay.

Justin was very accommodating and helpful when we had questions! The responses were so fast and informative. We loved everything about this place, it was peaceful, nice location and the pool was clean and very nice! Definitely will be back!!

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a group of 10 stay here very comfortably with multiple options , house was clean and organized. Brendan was very helpful and kind and made us feel right at home. Blue mountain and surrounding area was awesome had lots of activities and restaurants and the golf course was amazing. Thank you again for this great experience!

the house has been in the family since 1934, however has been updated and additions built that adds to the charm. Super cool sauna lay out and the bedrooms were spacious and clean...we had a great stay and even managed a few cider tours in the surrounding area. so fun...

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! Went with both friends and family, and it was the perfect getaway for everyone. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and super well-maintained — exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy nature. The backyard was great for lawn games, and the indoor space was clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Chris and Rachael were fantastic hosts — super responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. You can really tell they care about their guests’ experience. We’re already talking about coming back! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Thanks again, Chris and Rachael!

This place was a great size for our group of 10 and had a very spacious and comfortable main room where we could all gather to eat, play games and relax. The sauna is a nice feature as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Kersti and her co-hosts were very responsive, accomodating and helpful.

Fantastic hosts and a beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very informative, responsive and flexible. Home was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. The location is perfect for a relaxing get away with lots to do in the surrounding area. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

My friends and I really enjoyed our time in Hala’s place. It was so relaxing and cozy, so ideal for a time away from the city. The rooms were spacious and had comfy beds, the bathrooms were clean and had great lighting, and the sauna was relaxing. The place had everything we need and more! Hala was responsive and helped us when we needed anything. She was so thoughtful to have treats and wine for us when we arrived. I highly recommend the beautiful space and cannot wait to go back!
