Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Simcoe

Blu Lake House was a wonderful and spacious setting for our family gathering this Christmas. The views from the living room and back bedrooms over the snowy, frozen lake were magical! The kitchen was very well appointed (one of the best we have encountered!) - we easily had everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner, and more, including large pots, pans and baking trays. The house was very clean, comfortable and homely. Nadia, Gina and Joanne helped us out with a few things over the holiday period, including a replacement kettle, which we really appreciated.

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage in Innisfil! The location is absolutely stunning—waking up to serene lake views every morning was pure bliss. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat by the lake. We can’t wait to come back!

Nicole and Heather were great hosts who frequently checked in with us before, during and after our stay to make sure we had a great time. The place was as described and as shown in photos. We loved our time there and would stay again if we find ourselves in Port Hope!

From booking to checking out the entire process was seamless, not to mention the amenities in the AIRBNB were amazing - remember to bring your own toiletries but other than that - FANTASTIC stay chef’s kiss! We had a lovely girls weekend at Nikole's place. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds and couches are very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware to make some meals at-home, and the backyard is so cozy and cute (we didn't use it because of the rain but it looked very nice). The place is on a quiet street but still centrally located that it was no more than a 10 minute drive to downtown Barrie. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing responsiveness from pre-booking through to checkout! When you walk in the front door the view is stunning, and gets even better at sunset. Everything you need is readily available, kitchen has all you’d need. Loved the open living space for conversation. Even though neighbours are close, it still feels quite private on the deck and in the yard. Highly recommend this place for a smaller group. Just be sure you’re all ok with stairs as the bedrooms are all downstairs. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!

What an absolutely gorgeous place with not even the smallest details overlooked. Cathy was friendly, kind and extremely easy to deal with. Everything was exactly as described but even more beautiful in person. We were so impressed! My Mom and I enjoyed the cozy living room after cooking a meal in the perfectly appointed kitchen. We enjoyed Netflix on the large TV and a great soak in the comfortable hot tub. The property was absolutely mesmerizing and we spent at least an hour walking about, admiring the countless decorations. The bed was luxurious and everything was clean and in great condition. Cathy also made time for us personally, showing us around the entire property when we asked to see it. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, Cathy! We cannot wait to come back.

What a wonderful experience! We spent a week at Lanny and Jennifer's BnB and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was exceptionally clean with an abundance of everything we could possibly need during our stay. Tess is lovely and their place is in the best possible location by the beach. Literally steps away. The weather was a little cold and rainy for late May but it made for a cozy retreat with lovely beach walks. You can walk beautiful long strips of uninterrupted beach. Library was nearby if you needed books for “staying in” days and across the street from it was an amazing, authentic Italian sandwich and gelato place the hosts suggested (Che Roba! Soooo good) Overall my husband and I loved it and would definitely go back!

Such a beautifully decorated and well-appointed space for our last minute “mini-moon!” The apartment was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. The thoughtful touches (robes, slippers, treats) were much appreciated. We loved the hot tub with the river view. Robert and Taurean were friendly and very responsive hosts! We would return in a heartbeat.

Judi and Dave's place was perfect for us. We planned to be in Peterborough for only one night, but when we saw this listing we decided to stay an extra night, and are glad we did. Beautiful view of the river, lots of space, very comfy bed. Thank you!

Edward’s place is exactly as described in the listing. Clean, luxurious, and modern design. He responds in a timely professional manner and is accommodating. He checks up on you to make sure to follow the rules since it is a calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Great place to stay for our first ski trip to blue mountain.1

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. The space is beautifully curated, with such an artistic flair that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with creativity, making it a perfect retreat. Sara is an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive to all my questions, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and inviting. Nice place to stay near blue mountains!

a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

This home is beautiful and well equipped. Giovanni was pleasant and responded quickly to inquiries. My only suggestion would be for visitors to check the beds before choosing rooms, as some bed are firm and others quite soft.
