House holiday rentals in Lake Rotorua / Te Rotorua nui ā Kahumatamomoe

I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Thank you so much for the most beautiful time we had.

Quirky fun layout. Very practical & roomy enough for 9 guests. The kids loved that the pool was available even though it was Easter weekend. Roszarri was very helpful and welcoming.

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! Well presented house, is fairly central to where we wanted to go, only 22 minutes from the mount and 13 min from Tauranga so not too bad, good communication from the host and the pool was an added bonus.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing from every corner of the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool/trampoline. Great location for Golf enthusiasts or just down the road from a Mountain Bike trail/hike. Highly recommend for large groups. Tatiana is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful time in this fabulous house that was very well equipped. We felt right at home straight away and would love to come back again.

This is the top accommodation I’ve experienced in Rotorua. Both the interior and exterior are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The actual place looks even better than the photos. You can enjoy a private hot spring with peaceful scenery, and there‘s a lakefront and playground just a 3-minute walk away, making it the perfect accommodation where parents and children can all enjoy together.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We LOVED staying here! The view was something else. The house was super warm. All amenities were clean and the house was cosy. This was only a short drive to the Redwoods. Melanie was really responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful stay with Faith! Very cosy and comfortable accommodation for our 2 nights there. It was near everywhere we wanted to go (Redwood forest, hell's gate, te puia, town for groceries and souvenier shopping) in a very nice quiet location. Bed was so comfy we had a very good sleep after driving around. Faith was also very friendly and we had a good chat with her. She even gave us recommdations on what we should do and told us where to go for a beautiful sunrise. One of us left the charger in the unit and she post it out for us. Super helpful and much appreciated! Thanks for making our stay memorable. We wish you all the very best!

Amazing place. Definitely the best airbnb we had on our 3 week NZ trip. Very private, nature all around which can be enjoyed thanks to the big windows. Well equipped kitchen, super clean. Can highly recommended!!!

This was a beautiful place to stay, the house was very cosy and has a great view of the stars at night which was a great surprise.

This place was awesome! So homey and fun and the llama theme was taken seriously. Beds were so comfortable. The place actually felt like someone lived there and had all the supplies we needed. The host was super responsive and friendly and the house was a short drive from the main area. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay. The home is a spacious 2-bedroom, which was perfect for our group of three. Off-street parking out front and the check-in process was easy thanks to the lockbox and clear communication from the host before our arrival. The house is located on a main road, and since both bedrooms are at the front, there was a bit of traffic noise, but we had earplugs so slept just fine. The place was clean, tidy, and well-equipped for cooler Rotorua nights with a heat pump, additional heaters, and extra blankets. We'd happily stay again.

Anita’s place was the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility—close to Rotorua’s activities, restaurants, and sights, yet tucked near the mountains with stunning views and a peaceful, homey feel. The neighborhood was lovely, and as a family, we appreciated seeing children out playing. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and spacious for our group. We’d happily stay here again.

Nice area and close to the biking tracks in the Redwoods. Very homely. Garage was handy for bikes. It was good to be able to use the washing machine and dryer .

Everything was absolutley spotless. The house felt so welcoming and we slept so well in the beds. Super comfortable mattresses and beautiful linen. Carpets felt like they were brand new. Anne was so kind and was happy to be there if we needed her. She made our 5 year old daughter feel at home. My daughter loved the presence of the animals on the property and the swings and trampoline were a pleasant surprise for her. We feel like we didn’t have enough time in Rotorua so plan to come back again one day and won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great place for a family especially toddlers, we found the place perfect for older children as well. Definitely would book again!

Loved this place, From the moment we arrived it felt like home, beautiful welcome letter and refreshments. We didn't arrive till around midnight and they put the heat pump on for us. The house was clean and plenty of board games which was awesome as there was a local power cut, didn't bother us at all. Had everything we needed even toothbrushes which was great because the kids forgot theirs. We wish we would've come in summer to use the awesome bbq. It's a great location being out of Rotorua but not too far. Nice and quiet area. Nathan and Ashlyn are great hosts, were very accomodating and always there if we needed anything. We would recommend this home to families visiting as the yards are fully fenced as-well which is great for the little ones.
