Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Placid

Cheryl Lynn is an awesome host and this is a beautiful home. If possible I would definitely book again. The home is gorgeous, spotless and sits on a beautiful lot. Everything guests could possibly need is right here. Home is as pictured and even better. Everything was perfect.

We loved our stay at the lake house. Backyard with pool overlooking the canal was beautiful & peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking; lots of board game options provided. We took a nice walk after dinner in their neighborhood. Amy was quick to respond with any questions we had. Will definitely stay again at her home when we come to town!

We loved the lake house! Great location with absolutely stunning views from all outdoor areas! We really enjoyed relaxing with our morning coffee in the living room while opening the huge sliding doors to the screened in patio. It felt like we were outside but in the comfort of the house. The game room was great for the kids and we had a blast roasting marshmallows and making s’mores by the campfire. Everything was top notch and we can’t wait to head back!

This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time. One of the people in our party this time was mobility challenged and was able to maneuver over the house and porches with ease. We had 7 people and had plenty of room for everyone. Already talking about coming back next year. The hosts are always responsive when we have questions. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place!

This home was everything anyone could want or expect.The pictures are not deceiving it's that and more.I would recommend this home to anyone and the neighbors are awesome.

We had a fabulous time - the home is extremely comfortable, kitchen well kitted out, and the beds were a dream! Not to mention hanging outside grilling, on the dock fishing,and canoeing. Highly recommend! Thanks for being such a great host, Tim!

Safe feeling in neighborhood. Close to many lakes from 10 min to 1 hour or two away if taking a boat. Our guys took a boat and fished all week while the girls laid by the pool at the house. It was fabulous. You will need to take chairs to layout in if you’re not in the pool. The only downside was it was 40-60 min from any major restaurants and Walmart. Juanita is great host and communicates quickly and very friendly.

My family had a wonderful stay at Kelly's house in Lake Placid. The house was very clean and private. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets at night on your dock. Kelly was a great host, very responsive and a great communicator. We would definitely recommend that you stay here.

Our group of 9 enjoyed a comfortable stay! The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard and fishing in the lake. Highly Recommended!!!

My family and I had a great, relaxing time. The kids loved the lake, we brought some floaties and they spent their time either kayaking or floating beside the dock. We ate all of our meals in the backyard porch which has a beautiful view to the lake.

The home was very peaceful for a lakehouse getaway. It had everything needed, was uniquely decorated, and nicely furnished. Communication with the host and simple check-in/out was appreciated. Would recommend if staying in Lake Placid as it is close to town and the other larger lakes in the area.

Darcee’s home was perfect for our family of 5. It had a ton of space for us to feel comfortable and like home. The house was in pristine shape.. had all the amenities and more that we needed. She was so flexible with our check in and addressed any questions prior to our arrival expeditiously. I would recommend her home immediately and do hope to go back and use it again!

Very nice little place on the water. I was in town for a race and found everything to be just as described. Nice selection of cookware and there were some toiletries in the bathroom, which was much appreciated. Definitely will be looking this place up again when I come to town next time.

Beautiful home on lakefront with amazing views. We loved that the nearby boat ramp was accessible to launch our boat. Kids loved the game/movie room. Host was very informative and responsive throughout the stay. Highly recommend the property. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely perfect!! We loved the house. It had PLENTY of space, inside and outside. Plenty of places for friends to sleep. The dock was very nice and enjoyed playing on the rope swing and floating in the water.

From the time we walked in the front door we felt right at home. The house and yard were very clean and well cared for. We spent 6 weeks and absolutely loved the house. Even got to see a gator swimming by several times in the evenings and early mornings. Chad is a fantastic host that was very responsive and very quick to handle any issues that arose. We would defiantly not hesitate to stay in the future.

This house was what we expected. The house was spacious, clean and met all our requirements. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We just left and already booked it again for next month.

We spend my husband's weekend birthday at Jeannette's place with my family and everything was outstanding. It really exceeded our whishes! Jeannette was always there to recommend places and answer questions about the property. The house was amazing! We really enjoy the huge enclosed lanai with the soccer and hockey table. And we had an amazing barbecue at the deck by the channel. I will highly recommend Jeanette's place. Thank you very much!

The pictures are accurate but the pictures don’t capture how relaxing and amazing an evening on the back patio can be. Cooking burgers, watching our kids fish and jump off the floating dock was priceless. Great place- we’ll be back.
