Kankarwa Haveli

The Kankarwa Fort northeast of Udaipur still stands testimony to the family’s rich history. Early in the 19th century, the Maharana gave the Thakur of Kankarwa permission to build an urban house in Udaipur City. Construction began around 1820 and is presently known as Kankarwa Haveli. In 1993 the family began renovation work and within two years Kankarwa Haveli opened its doors for travellers while remaining the city dwelling of the original family.

This is a wonderful guest house surrounded by nature just outside Udaipur. We really enjoyed the quietness and the pool side. Our room was very clean and spacious. Jyoti is a great host and extremely attentive. We can very much recommend the Devra guest house and would love to stay here again in the future.

Lake Facing Super Deluxe rooms On Lake Pichola

Padamvir and the staff were extremely hospitable, and the location was exactly what we were looking for. All of our rooms looked over the stunning Lake Pichola, and we enjoyed food, drinks, and more on the rooftop at our leisure. This was a fantastic weekend stay!

Hospitality by the Team was very homely and warm. Thanks for the wonderful and friendly time spent at the Property. The View is awesome especially in the Mornings and evening.. the calmness is superb.. the Morning chill breeze at 23 degrees at Udaipur was refreshing. The approach made me feel going on a trail and was different.

Bans Villa with Delightful Decorè

This is a hidden gem in Udaipur, right in the perfect location. all major spots are ~10 mins from here, and the house is amazing. Mr.Devendra and his family were amazing to stay with, the home was clean all the time with all the required facilities along with great homely food. the food was so good we ended up having breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday at this place. They even went beyond to cook a different meal, three times a day, everyday for one of our friend who can't eat normal food due to a medical condition. We were lucky to get this place during our 1 week stay in Udaipur.

Our stay was really peaceful and we enjoyed time there. Chefs made our food really delicious especially as our diet requirement was jain food, it was really delicious. Staff in the hotel is jolly, courteous and very responsive. Suit room was which we booked was really nice. From the terrace the sunset upon the Aravalli hills is worth watching rather than going to some far away place. I found our stay was worth it for the price we paid during diwali offer. The hotel is located 15 min away from main city area hence free from noise and hustle which we needed.
