Centrally located in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Every home on our street was lost in the 2018 Camp Fire. We are the fourth home to be rebuilt on the street. There is new hope for this small mountain community. Decorated in a cozy cottage look with comfortable beds and everything you need in our stocked kitchen. Excellent internet and a smart TV . There is an outdoor table for and gas grill. Our local marina, Line Saddle, has boat, paddle board and kayak rentals for a day on the lake.

Aside from the upstairs noise periodically it was perfect! The couch is very comfortable to sleep on if you don't want the hassle of blowing up a second bed. The place was beautiful and we will stay there again if we get the opportunity. Great host/hostess.

Erica was such a wonderful host! We felt as if a friend was taking care of us. She was super responsive and checked in on us during our stay, accommodated us with supplies for activities, breakfast & we purchased an add on pizza basket which was so awesome and tasty!!! Can’t say enough good things. This place is like a slice of heaven and all the detailed touches that Erica made was everything, from the record player, to music choices, games and books. We felt like we were in our own little romance film! :) lol. Erica is great. The place is beautiful. Definitely coming back!

Everyone loved it! Plenty of room for myself a teen and two younger kids. Very clean, fun games to play , property was nice and host was great! Kids loved the farm tour and fresh eggs! We will be back.

The cabin was such an amazing get away. The location is perfect — 10 min from the Yuba and Nevada City. The cabin is cozy but with everything you could need. And the sauna, tub, and outdoor shower made it feel like we had our own private spa. Will definitely be back again!

In a few words: Carolyn & Julio’s place felt like a unique gem of a find that exceeded my fiancé & I’s expectations. I was looking for a somewhat last minute (1.5-2 weeks out) place to stay in or around Chico, CA to attend my little brother’s college graduation. I wasn’t looking for a “tiny home” but it caught my eye as cute & a potentially unique experience. The only thing I worried about was space with my tall, athletic build fiancé 😁 Once I booked she very soon after sent me a warm welcoming message. Flashforward to the graduation weekend and due to many external circumstances and simply not knowing the area well, I was praying that finding this cute little place would be simple & that check in would be easy. Carolyn was two steps ahead and sent clear instructions. There were delicious fresh muffins on the counter & eggs in the fridge for us! Lastly, the tiny space is so well designed that my 1 concern about how my fiancée would feel inside vanished! Perfect for 2 people!!
