Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Merritt

This was a great spot! In addition to having beautiful taste in decor and being friendly and responsive, Jennifer was also super understanding when I had to modify my trip because of a change in plans.

Rin’s place is amazingly beautiful. It is situated near to Target, many eateries, pharmacies and gas stations. The house was clean and very comfortable (just like photos). Kitchen equipped with cooking spices and appliances. Host was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend to book Rin’s place.

Suzanne’s and Abhishek’s place was super cozy and comfortable! The location was also amazing, as it was right by the lake but also in a nice residential area. They were also super responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent again if I’m back!

Nicole's place was absolutely stunning, loved the decor. I would recommend this place to anyone staying or wanting be near San Francisco. Thank you for a great 2 days.

We absolutely adored our stay at this property! The home was impeccably clean and tidy, which immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. It truly felt like a cozy haven—after long days of exploring, coming back to this space was such a joy. We rested wonderfully here, thanks to the peaceful and homely environment. Even before leaving home for our trip, Michelle was wonderful! She answered our questions prior to booking. Communication with her was very helpful and easy. We highly recommend her cottage and hope to stay with her again in the future. The location is very easy to get to off of the highway. It was very convenient for visiting our UC Berkeley student. Street parking was available nearby. Her property is private, secure, and quiet. We felt very much at home and welcomed by her. Her cottage had everything we needed and more. The cottage is exactly as pictured in her listing. Michelle’s place is bookmarked for us for future stays!

Jess' place is the cutest! Stayed for a week with my dog. It's a quiet neighborhood within close (3-5 mins) driving or 5-15 mins walking distance to a lot of fun spots (Prescott Food Hall, Lake Merritt, etc). Great bathroom, comfy bed.

Very spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Lots of light. Conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go. Responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

The place was very nice. We have kids & grandkids in the Bay Area and like to visit as often as possible. The place was clean and comfortable but most of all very welcoming. And Ramil reached out to make sure our needs were met. If the need arises we would definitely stay there again

Hello all, I am a traveling nurse on a stent at the hospital down the street and this space was just perfect for my boyfriend and I. He works from home and this was a wonderful little writer's nook. The space is lovely, well equipped and neighborhood is very walkable. Close to many bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Easy walk to Piedmont or Grand Lake areas. The hostess is super responsive and accommodating. Do be aware, that the check-in time listed at the bottom is no joke- the building management does not allow check-in's past about 9:00 pm. I had failed to read the small print at the bottom of the listing, but all worked out ok for us- the hostess was so wonderful for helping us out, I just don't want anyone else to be surprised last minute :) 10/10 recommend this place and would stay again!

Nice neighborhood. We enjoyed walking in the nearby canyon and had 2 nice meals in the shopping area that was just 2 blocks away.

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

This was a lovely well thought-out space. I’m a traveling nurse who frequents this area, and I felt right at home! Kitchen bedroom and bathroom are well equipped, and there is a little office nook that is nice and quiet if you’re in need of a workspace. The hostess is responsive and helpful with check-in. Neighborhood is walkable and there are lots of great restaurants and coffee shops up the way on Piedmont. Really everything you could ask for in an Airbnb :) highly recommend this space for a traveling professional or couple

Belinda's place was worthy of all of the 5 stars I just submitted. We were entirely pleased with all aspects of her home and our stay. If it matters to future travelers, there are 45 steps from the sidewalk to the front door. We managed these steps, but there is no getting around them.

Very cute spot in Adams Point, within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants along the lake. Shimmy was a responsive and friendly host. The place itself is adorable and was plenty of space for 2 people.

Lovely place in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Amazing views if you walk two blocks north. You can walk to the Lyon steps which has lovely views of the bay and stunning homes surrounding it . Fillmore St has a lot of shops and restaurants and is a fairly flat walk from the apartment. Get a croissant at La Boulange on Pine St. absolutely fabulous.

Nader, We love the Deco and the Vibes of the home. Toilet has heated seats and in-Built Bidet spray for your Ehem-ehems! Toaster,water boiler,many pans, oven, microwave, he has everything u need. I asked about Aircon🙈. We did. not need aircon as The weather is so nice and cold at Night (11degrees 13-18Jun). We loved that Nader is a responsive and responsible host. My 15yr old son had a home accident and broke a hanging light fixture at the dining area as he stood up. We informed Nader of the issue. Super-host asked "firstly, is your son okay? Does he need medical attention? I have a first aid kit in the home". Super-host Wins!!! (Inna haza larizkunna mallahu minnafad. Amiin Amiin Amiin) - our doas to Allah SWT to grant you more Rezki for providing us a safe great home to stay. Boys wanna come back to SFO and re-stay at your home again! Thank you Nader

One of my favorite locations ive stayed in. Beautiful scenery! Beautiful home, comfortable bed! I'd love to live there! Only complain is the entrance to parking, if you have a low car, the bottom will scrape horrible if you dont hug the wall. and if youre staying downstairs, youll hear upstairs foot steps, but that was only 1 morning. besides those 2 complaints, its a excellent Beautiful home!

Amy met me to give me the keys and walked me through the condo to explain everything. It was a very personal approach. She also reached out to me the first morning to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Everything was spotless and very high end. The place was very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the patio. I would highly recommend Amy's place to anyone looking for a base to enjoy San Francisco. I intend to stay again the next time I need a place in San Francisco for a few days.

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a 5-minute commute to work, which made my if so much easier. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, as well as very understanding & above all accommodating.always available if I had any questions and genuinely made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay in the area. Would definitely book again!
