Es war so traumhaft schön in der Unterkunft. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Patrizia ist die liebevollste Gastgeberin und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Weg mit dem Jeep zur Unterkunft ist ganz schön kurvig und turbulent, daher würde ich eher empfehlen hochzulaufen. Der Weg zu Fuß ist wunderschön:) Es ist die perfekte Unterkunft wenn man einen schönen Blick haben möchte und wandern gehen will:)

Die Baita dell’Est ist weit mehr als nur eine Unterkunft – sie ist ein Ort voller Ruhe, Magie und liebevoller Details. Die Hütte ist traumhaft gelegen, stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet mit dem Whirlpool und dem Ausblick ein echtes Erlebnis. Wir kamen zum 5-jährigen Jubiläum – und haben weit mehr bekommen als nur eine schöne Unterkunft. Wir haben Erinnerungen gesammelt, die bleiben. Was diesen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht hat, war Nicola. Seine Herzlichkeit, seine Verlässlichkeit und seine Tipps haben alles perfekt ergänzt. Man merkt sofort: Hier steckt echtes Herz drin. Besonders empfehlen können wir ein Frühstück in der Pasticceria Mastai in Chiavenna – himmlisch! Auch die Umgebung lädt zum Erkunden ein – Natur, kleine Gassen, gutes Essen. Sehr ruhige Lage, ideal zum entspannen. Ein sehr schmuckes Häuschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere täglichen Ausflüge.

This place was perfect for our two nights in Lake Como! Could not beat that view and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of exploring. Host was easy to reach and had good instructions for check in. Would highly recommend a visit to Orrido di Vezio for a small hike and visit to the castle not too far away. All in all you couldn’t ask for anything more

Es war genau das Richtige für eine kleine Auszeit. Ich konnte super auftanken; die Umgebung und das Haus waren ein Traum. Ich habe mich gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Andy war stets sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich, danke für alles. Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder - nächstes Mal auch mit meiner Familie.

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!

Wir haben die Unterkunft sehr genossen. Das schöne war: Unsere Hunde waren ebenfalls sehr willkommen. Die Zimmer waren vom Platz gerade ausreichend, aber der Garten ist riesengross und der eigene Swimming Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die grosse Outdoor-Küche ist perfekt zum Grillieren, Kochen und Beisammensein. Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen und überlegen uns jetzt schon, wann wir wieder hinfahren werden :)

We can only agree with the positive reviews. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and we couldn't get enough of it. The accommodation is cozy, with comfortable beds and great amenities in the kitchen. We took beautiful little hikes directly from Vallemiola. Enza is a very friendly and accommodating hostess, even if we did not meet her in person. We highly recommend the stay!

How disconnected can you be from nature? Thanks to Luciano, we were able to understand it. Staying in his accommodation was the perfect opportunity to get closer to nature, animal life, silence, and the coolness of the morning. Walking along the path to reach the hut is like living a magical fairy tale. The place is tidy and extremely clean. Luciano is kind and helpful. His adventure companion, Olèo, a beautiful and very friendly dog. My partner and I needed to get away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. And the Baita nel Bosco turned out to be the ideal place. We only stayed two nights, but we will definitely be back. This time for longer. Thank you very much Luciano. Your life and your story are an example for everyone. See you soon.

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly decorated, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception, they were successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Dieses schöne Ferienhäuschen ist in wunderbarer Lage im Wald und es hat uns sehr gefallen, dort in der Natur in einfachen Verhältnissen zu wohnen. Wir haben uns teilweise wie im Märchenland gefühlt. Unter der Woche war es sehr ruhig im Dorf, m Wochenende sind, wie beschrieben, einige Renovierungsarbeiten bei den Nachbarn passiert. Die Gegend ist traumhaft zum Wandern und Ausflüge an den See oder in den Val Grande Nationalpark zu unternehmen. Die Gastgeber Adolfo und Christina sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg lohnt sich.

the place is ENCHANTING; it feels like going back in time, in fact, to stop the hustle and bustle of these chaotic and difficult days for a while. Es war eine traumhafte Woche im Centovalli! Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf umgeben von der Natur mit traumhafter Aussicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Und würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Sehr schöne Umgebung zum radeln, wandern und für Ausflüge nach Italien oder an den Lago Maggiore. Tolle Restaurants in der Umgebung. Unterkunft besitzt alles notwendige was man braucht. Guter Kontakt zu den Eigentümern. Eine rundum gelungene Woche. Wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in dit geweldige fijne boshuis. Paola en Aldo zijn vrolijk, gastvrij en zeer behulpzaam. Paola kwam de lekkerste gnocchi, pasta en lokale koekjes brengen en vertelde hoe we mbv de verse kruiden in de tuin het beste pasta recept konden maken. Bovendien kwam Paola de haard voor ons aanmaken! En altijd met een lach en grapjes. Paola spreekt haar talen! Wij niet, maar mbv Paola’s inzet hebben we enkele Italiaanse woorden geleerd. Alora.. madaai … We bevelen deze prachtige, rustige plek van harte aan. De omgeving leent zich voor veel tripjes en oneindig veel mooie wandelingen van makkelijk tot uitdagend. Plekje zit in ons hart.

Il Picchio is a beautiful chalet. Comfortable beds for 7. Excellent shower. Spacious living room. Francesca is the perfect host: made great suggestions of restaurants, festivals and even a hiking guide! You have to hike Alpe Veglia! Stunning. Lake Orta is a beautiful lake and Orta San Giulio is a gem of a lakeside village. We highly recommend Il Picchio. We will be back!

Staying there was amazing, you have so much nature surrounding you, getting there is a little tricky but with the right car is all worth it! Andrea was really friendly and the place was clean and just like the pictures! Would definitely go again!

We had a wonderful time in Clelia's little cottage. Absolute tranquility, beautiful surroundings, a cozy ambiance, simple furnishings but enough of everything. The contact with Clelia was very pleasant.

I don't want to say anything good about this place for fear of not having places for next year😁. As you can see, this is a great place to stay but especially great hosts. The setting is idyllic, located at an equal distance from Lago di Lugano and Lago di Como. A raised car is very useful for passing the cobblestone path. Claudia and Luca's place has everything you need to spend time with the family and decompress. Claudia and Luca are very thoughtful hosts who answer all our questions quickly. ( This was helpful due to a car issue.) The horses were a plus for my daughter who was delighted to be able to take care of them with Claudia. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for calm, beautiful scenery, great hosts, and located 20 minutes from the great Italian lakes. What more could you ask for? 😉

We had a great time, charming village, very nice and quiet. I recommend it to everyone. Francesca and her parents are very helpful and welcoming.

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.

The house is in a perfect, quiet location, close to many walks, on foot you can reach many really nice places like the horrors. The interior of the house, all made of wood, is very nice. If you love tranquility, it is the perfect place. I needed Alberto for information and he was ready and accurate. We had a quiet and very relaxing vacation. Highly recommended.
