Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Karapiro

Lakeview Lodge was the perfect place for our large family! I wish we had longer to stay because, WOW, it was truly spectacular! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the views were just breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and we all got a great night of rest between the Waitomo glow caves and the Hobbiton movie set tour. Highly recommend for families and groups!

The house was fantastic. It’s the first one in the Mango village. Beautiful sunsets visible from the balcony. Gregory was away, but Robyn lives right across and is delightful! The totally stocked kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The home is very spacious and aesthetically done up. My one year old had the most fun sitting up by the fireplace when the nights got cold. All amenities such as the bathroom, barbecue, washer and dryer are top notch. The bathroom even had a floor heater! We chose the location since we wanted to spend time in Hamilton, Rotorua, Waitomo and Taupo. Absolutely enjoyed our time here. Although I wish we had a few spare days to extend our visit. Highly recommend!

We booked this house for our guests at our wedding. The house was so great and well worth the money. It was very big and easy to find plenty of parking and we will definitely recommend to anyone in the area

This was one of the greatest places I’ve stayed at, and there have been a lot! Checkin was easy, super responsive to anything I asked and it was EXACTLY as advertised. Photos were clear and amenities great. A wonderful retreat from busy adventuring in New Zealand. Can’t recommend it enough

we had a fantastic time at Leannes place. the house is every comfortable, and relaxing - & the host went out of her way to make it an enjoyable stay for us. we'll definitely be back!

The host was amazing and really responsive. Allowed us to checkin earlier as we reached earlier than expected. It was such a smooth checkin and communication was great. Place was big enough to accommodate our party of 10 adults and 5 kids. Kids loved having their own space to play upstairs as well as in the garage. Adults enjoyed the fireplace a lot. Really warm house.

We needed a last minute accommodation and Margaret responded so fast and had the place ready for us to arrive. The place was amazing and our workers enjoyed there short stay.

Stayed here for two months. Highly recommend this for anyone in the area for a longer period. It is very walkable to the centre of Hamilton. There are co-working spaces nearby (I used The Crate) if that’s something that’s important. Within a very short walk there is a car rental place and making use of that to explore the surrounding area was excellent. Good bus links and the buses take both Bee Card and Cash (at the time of writing). Fantastic place, would absolutely stay again if I am in the area

WOW!! 5-star Airbnb with a 10-star host!!! Absolutely stunning, clean and well-equipped unit. Paul was amazing, from start to finish - providing all the nice touches, local and out-of-town recommendations and he made sure, throughout our stay we had everything we needed and then some!! Stay with Paul - you will NOT be disappointed!! Definitely recommend!!!

Richel's place was absolutely perfect for our stay! It was clean, comfortable, and close to grocery store. Everything we needed was right there, making it a super relaxing getaway. Would rate 10/10, highly recommend.

Vijay place wasn’t top end but definitely wasn’t bottom end! For the price you pay you get exactly what you want and if not more from Vijay and it’s very easy access walking to and from the city centre and Vijay was often on hand to help us with car rides to and from! He also picked us up from the airport and cooked us dinner and breakfast everyday! Thanks Vijay was a great 4 nights!

Such a great host. Fantastic communication and very helpful. Lovely spot and is a great kiwi Bach. Loved the fishing and biscuiting on the lake. The place was fantastic for little ones with the fencing. The beds were so comfortable and the shower had great pressure.

We loved staying here. The house is presented beautifully, with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Silvana and Craig were wonderful hosts and will go out of their way to make you comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic place! The location is super convenient, grocery store and good playground just up the road. Main town just a bit beyond that in the opposite direction. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and having off street parking was convenient. Thank you Vicki we had a wonderful stay

We had 2 nights in the Cottage. It was in a beautiful setting, private and quiet. It was roughly in between Cambridge and Hamilton on a high class road. Jane provided breakfast cereals, porridge and croissants and even gave us a jar of newly made jam and figs to take home. Comfy beds, great heat pump and lovely lookout from the balcony as well as a very friendly host. Thank you Jane.
