Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake County

Stayed here for a few nights as a family of 4 with two children under 10. Worked out great for us, with the full kitchen and additional bedroom. Short drive to Copper Mt so we didn’t have to deal with I70 traffic. Found the history of the house and buildings in the back very interesting. Would stay here again.

John’s home was incredible for our stay in Leadville. The mountains were amazing to see the moment we stepped out of the house.

This is one of the best stocked and clean Air BnBs that we’ve stayed in! The neighborhood was quiet and just a few minute drive to the downtown shops and restaurants. If we get to Leadville again we would definitely hope to stay here again!

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Very cute place. Well stocked. Great location (easy walk to downtown). And Stephanie had fantastic communication before we even arrived. She told us all the great restaurants to try out and all the hot spots to hit. Great experience staying here.

Cute little house 1 1/2 blocks from Main Street. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Fully stocked kitchen. Loved the fold out table in the living room to play board games. Overall a nice place to stay.

Perfect place for our stay in Leadville. Came in for a wedding which was a 3 minute drive from the house. Great location near the downtown area where there is a lot of history to explore and tons of restaurants. Clean, comfortable place with everything we needed available. Nice view of the mountains all around!

Perfect place for our family ski weekend at Cooper. Kids loved the game room and movie nights on the big couch downstairs while parents played cards at the bar and watched the Nuggets game. Cooper is 15 mins away which, walk anywhere on the main drag, and of course we had a beer at the Silver Dollar Saloon that is right across the street. Bill was easy to work with and made everything a breeze with detailed instructions and info about the home and area. We'll be back for sure!

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our family of 5. All three of our kids had their own bed, which was really nice. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need and the place was spotlessly clean. The house is very cozy and the gas fireplace in the living room is so easy to use and wonderful after being outside in the cold all day skiing. Richard was very proactive and helpful in his communications and it was so easy getting into the house. This location worked out great for our week in Leadville skiing at Ski Cooper. Highly recommend.

Takes a bit to get used to the altitude if you are from a low elevation but very good place to stay with a killer view!

The Abbey is a great place to stay — excellent location and Paul, Kathryn, and their family are extremely welcoming! Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

This log cabin style home is beautiful and warm in the freezing winter months. Having a full kitchen and laundry machines is nice. The high altitude of this whole area is no joke to those of us from lower altitudes though! I found myself out of breath frequently the first day, so take it easy going up the stairs. It is also rather low humidity, so pack lip balm for sure. A humidifier for sleeping would also be nice in winter months. But those altitude/low humidity considerations which would be an issue at any house here. This location has convenient access to Ski Cooper and the town of Leadville. Having two showers is great for families, and there are heated floors which are awesome in the cold months. The host was quick to reply for the few questions I had.

Amazing stay right in the middle of Leadville. Waking up to the smell of coffee downstairs and being able to explore the main street was such a treat. Nick’s place had everything we needed with lots of cozy touches. Would definitely stay again.

Once again we had a great time! This is the 3rd time staying here. Pam is a great host and a pleasure to deal with. If you are thinking about staying at this place, do not hesitate. You wont regret it!

Can’t say enough good things about Dana’s place. Perfect spot for two. Quiet, private and beautiful views. Place was clean and very comfortable bedding. Will stay again my next visit to Leadville!

We loved our stay! We are a family of 6 with kids ranging from 1-11. They truly thought of everything! They even had a high chair, pack n play, and baby tub. The condo is right by the pool and just steps from downtown. It was also so clean! The recommendations were helpful and I appreciated the speed the hosts responded. We know where to stay in Breckenridge next time we visit!

John’s place was very nice, everything as described; nice space and everything was comfortable. Very easy access to get inside and great location. John gave a lot of helpful info about the place and surrounding restaurants; etc. We would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a great stay! This property is so nice and exactly as described! No detail is overlooked! Smalls snacks, coffee, extra toiletries if you forgot anything are all provided! So many nice extras to make your stay nice and easy! Great location to shopping and restaurants! We would definitely stay again!!

Loved the stay at Brett’s. It was clean and cozy. And loved the touch of tea and coffee. Shower was amazing after a long couple days on the road. Would definitely recommend if looking for a nice space to rest your head.

I stayed at Peter’s condo after having been on a road trip for over a week. It was within a short drive of town but it was wonderful to be out of the way of traffic and tourists. This newly renovated condo is a super comfortable and clean option if you need a break and want the option of self-catering, from Peter’s small but well equipped kitchen.

We loved our stay at Robert’s place. Great value for the best location in Breckenridge.

Josh’s place was as described! We loved the location. Just steps away from the cute downtown. Josh was very responsive and immediately helped us reactivate our keycard when it stopped working. It did get pretty warm inside the unit since it’s spring time, but the ceiling fan and keeping the windows open at night helped cool us down! The beds were also very comfy.
