Fish the gold medal water, that are only 100' away. You're just minutes from Turquoise and Twin Lakes, where you can fish, boat, or enjoy all the water sporting activities the lakes have to offer. If you're a hunter, you're in the prime location. Skiing!!! But if you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, you couldn't have picked a better place!

Grandpa's House

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

The Brandybuck- Downtown Leadville 3-bedroom retreat

This family-friendly 3-bedroom basement is hosted by locals who love welcoming folx to Leadville. Just 3 blocks west of Harrison, you always get to walk downhill from your time in the historic district. Hosted by former Outward Bound instructors and current owners of FREIGHT (Leadville's event center and boutique hotel). You'll find: 6-person hot-tub stunning views of Mt. Massive 3 queen bed rooms full washer-dryer modern and clean kitchen indoor storage of your skis, bikes, rec. equipment

Carner’s Cabin - backcountry hut

A secluded cabin in a high alpine environment at 11,700 feet! Truly off-grid, without electricity, running water, NO WiFi. Beautifully furnished with fabulous furniture and wonderful beds to sleep 8. Just bring a sleeping bag & pillow case! WINTER ACCESS: By ski/skin, snowshoe or snowmobile only. 2 miles and 1000 foot gain to cabin. Takes approximately 3 hours on rolling and steep terrain. SUMMER ACCESS: By high-clearance, 4x4 vehicle and requires low gears (rental SUV not recommended).
