And you can use early check-in and late check-out as standard❗️ A 3-minute walk to JR Otsu Station, 10 minutes to JR Kyoto Station, and about 40 minutes to JR Shin-Osaka.In addition, Keihan Electric Railway's Kamisakae Station can be used, and access to Kyoto Sanjo, the west coast of Lake Biwa, and the shore is excellent.❗️ The interior is clean and it is a beautiful house ^_^ Small children are also welcome😊 There are restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and tourist information centers around JR Otsu Station, which is a 3-minute walk away, making it very convenient. A house in a quiet villa area on the shore of Lake Biwa, Rinkusho. A location surrounded by a peaceful countryside, with a white sand and green pine lake spread out in front of it. You can enjoy the seasonal natural scenery within a 100-step walk, adjacent to Lake Biwa and the Wadatara River. Blue sky, expansive lake, white sand, and green trees. Sunrise and sunset over the lake. Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Azalea House is on the slope of Mt. Hiei, a world-heritage. To get there, drive 20 min. from Kyoto-Higashi exit on Meishin. Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. Self-cooking is available.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

Near River Townhouse "Gate" Traditional Buildings Preservation Area

This is the only guest house (entire house rental) facing Shinmachi Street in an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The streets lined with merchants' houses, built in the late Edo period to the Meiji era, give you a strange feeling as if time has stopped when you step into it. This Shinmachi neighborhood is important not only for its scenery but also as a historical site. This is a very rare accommodation where you can stay in such an area.

It is located in an area rich in this local asset (nature), or to put it another way, in a place where there is nothing but this local asset. It may be inconvenient if you "live" here every day, but if you "stay" as you live, it should be comfortable. This guesthouse is a place where you can enjoy a little time away from the digital world and "create your own time".

We have a Canadian house, just a stone through away from the beautiful Lake Biwa. Suitable place to stay for family trip, with friends and work trip. For 7guests or less, we rent 3 bed rooms (with 8 beds) For 8guests or more, we can rent the extra cabin space which is still part of the building but usually there is no access.(5 bed rooms and an attic, 12 beds and extra bathroom) please see photos and enquire within. - No Party - No BBQ after 9pm
