Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lake Biwa

We were arriving in Kyoto without planning activities and the host recommended we go to see an event that was taking place during our visit. Great attention!

Shared bicycles can be rented next door to the room, making it easy to get around

Beautiful place, amidst a really beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood! Walkable from the station, we couldn’t have found a better place to stay during our trip in this budget.

The property is situated near Ono Station, it is a little farther from the City Centre and yet very accessible. The 7-11 and Lawson stores are nearby 4 min walk. Overall anyone looking for a place not exactly in the city centre yet accessible, this is the place to go. As dar the apartment is concerned, it’s quite big, has sofa cum bed and tatami beds (sleeping in tatami beds is very relaxing) Taketo has a very in depth books and guides for local recommendations and recommendations throughout Kyoto. Overall will definitely come again to stay and will definitely recommend.

Very comfortable, well located accommodation. Only a few minutes walk to train line and bus stops so catching public transport to different areas of Kyoto. Within walking distance to Nishiki market and great shops. Clear instructions for easy check-in and check out. Great to have access to a washing machine.

We had a wonderful stay in this very clean and comfortable home, which had everything we needed—whether we were relaxing inside or heading out to explore. After a week of travel, we especially appreciated having laundry facilities and helpful supplies on hand. The space felt roomy for the two of us, especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in Japan. May and Milan were very responsive, and the detailed instructions made it easy to use the Japanese appliances. The location was excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk to Nishiki Market, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. We’d love to return and would happily stay at May’s place again!

We stayed here for few days during our Japan trip. The house was beautiful and you can get a true guesthouse experience. Location was good, in a quiet neighborhood and not too far from public services and some good temple sights with almost zero crowds. Owner was very kind and responded quickly to any questions. Book this if you want to experience living in a traditional Japanese residence.

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! Clean, spacious, a traditional experience with tatami and futon❤️ all the amenities are available, we loved everything!🌸🌸🌸🌸

Our host Ichiashi responded to messages instantly, which always made us feel safe, and was always open to questions. The house was like a dream, you feel like you are in a Japanese house. The bicycles waiting for you in front of the house are perfect for experiencing the spirit of Kyoto. The host has even prepared a map for you for places to visit in Kyoto. Peace flows in through the windows overlooking the backyard of the house. Everything from iron to plate, from coffee to shampoo, even bath salt for the bathtub has been thought of inside the house. The Nozemi house was a really great experience! The hosts were very kind, easy going, and were responsive. The apartment itself was bigger than expected, and the walk to the JR line / Aeon Mall was shorter than expected (~12 minutes). The only recommendation would be to provide clear instructions for the washer / dryer use, and rice cooker use. Thank you!

Convenient location and within a 8 minute walk to Kyoto Station. Room appeared to have more space than the photos displayed but very comfortable for a family of 5. Check in/check out process was easy and as advised. If you’re looking for a place that is convenient, clean and budget friendly, then you’re in luck. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Kyoto!

Comfortable stay, had all the accommodations we needed. Was spacious and the apartment was clean. The host was very responsive and friendly to our questions. The place is located walking distance away from the temple. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of things to do and minutes away from local bus stops. Being so close to major tourist sights made it easy to get up early in the morning and avoid the crowds.
