House holiday rentals in Lake Ariel

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

I have never stayed in a Airbnb felt nerves about staying, once I checked in and seen the house it was perfect just like the pictures I seen, Amanda was the BEST host, Whenever I reached out to her she responded immediately!! We had a great time. This was our second time staying at this beautiful house. Felt like going back home! Property has all you need for cooking, grilling, spices (no need to bring much with you) and complimentary coffee. Very clean. We enjoyed closeness to the lake: swimming, kayaking and beautiful views. Thank you Hosts!

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in PA. From the moment I arrived, I felt at peace—the house is a true gem, perfect for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or with friends, this place offers the comfort, space, and tranquility to make your stay unforgettable. The house itself is spotless, spacious, and incredibly cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook and share meals, and there’s also a great grill outside for barbecues. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel at home. One of the highlights of this stay was the location. Surrounded by nature, it’s the ideal spot to relax, unwind, and connect with the outdoors. There are nearby lakes for summer days by the water, and the area offers great trails for hiking. Tim was a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and helpful. His clear guidance and warm hospitality made everything smooth.

Kasia was an excellent host and her house was beautiful! The view of the lake was absolutely stunning in winter, as it would be regardless of the season. The kitchen was well equipped, accommodating multiple cooks at once, and everything was spotless - we found we could even use a cup without rinsing because there wasn't even a speck of dust on anything! On top of all this, Kasia was friendly and always quick to respond, and even answered right away when we called with a question. Would definitely stay again!

The place was super peaceful and beautiful. My family and I had an amazing time enjoying the view and seeing the deer. If you’re traveling in an electric vehicle, be sure to check out the charging stations nearby, here aren’t many options...but if you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway, this is the place to be!

What a gem! From the moment you walk in the door, all the stress melts away! Meticulously spotless. Open floor plan. Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen. Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided. I really can't say enough. Mike was super responsive and checked in with us. My husband and I felt right at home. We will be back!

We were very pleased with the house and location. The dock was perfect for my boat. My whole group loved the house and not want to leave. We would rent the house again without question.

The large group that I brought to this Airbnb hosted by Marcy was very well accommodated leading up to and throughout our stay. Everything was as we expected and more in the house and the amenities were great! The one inconsistency was that the walk to the boats was about 30 minutes instead of the stated 15 on the description (for context the group was majority ex college athletes, so we walked at a decent pace!). But in all honesty, that was the only hiccup for the group. The house felt homey, spacious and was perfectly suitable for a long weekend with a group of friends!

Just as described. The host was great and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Updated, clean, homey feeling place with thoughtful furnishings. The AC worked very well and cooled the house down very well. We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to downtown Honesdale and nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house and we’d stay here again without question.

Justyna was awesome! Very responsive when I needed direction or help around the house. T home was exactly as described and I couldn’t have asked more from our stay. Everything was seamless from point of entry to exit. I’m thankful for such great hosts! I look forward to a future visit.

The place was clean and cozy, it had everything inside my family could have needed and asked for. The bedroom situation was perfect and extremely comfortable. The downstairs living room was fantastic and provided many memories. My grandkids love the place and the space. We could not have asked for a better place or host for our trip.

House was perfectly positioned on a cove of the lake (a no wake zone) and was great for fishing and using the supplied boats with the kids. It was also walking distance to the pool and beach (wish the weather was better so we could have used those amenities). The owners were responsive and nice. An overall good experience. Thank you!

Great place but there is no access to the lake. It’s across the street but it’s private access. The neighbor explained it to us before we tried to go In someone’s yard. But it’s not hard to just drive down the street and find public access. Great location another then that. Close to everything - good restaurants, boat tours, a zoo. We did it all and had a great time. Cute place. Great lay out and nice yard.

Awesome place and outdoor space. We wished the backyard was gated since we stayed with kids and pets. But honestly it was perfect. 100% recommended for some time away from the city.

Nancy’s home is a great place to enjoy nature from the patio with hot tub or from the sun room. The home is nicely furnished and has comfortable beds. We enjoyed hiking beautiful parks with waterfalls and visiting charming towns. Nancy gave great local recommendations.
