Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lahinch

Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Our family loved the cottage. The views and sunsets were just beautiful. It is 2 minutes from Cliffs if Moher and about 8 minutfrom Doolin. It was a nice touch to have breakfast foods for the first morning. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had a great dinner at Russell Seafood and listened to music at McDermotts.

This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

A beautiful building lovingly restored in a great location if you like walks, beautiful countryside while still being near to towns and villages for a nice meal out. John was so helpful and friendly, it just started our break off on the right foot. Ps bring carrots for the donkeys in the paddock next door, the stars of the show

We spent about 3 weeks touring Scotland and Ireland and this was hands down the cleanest and prettiest flat throughout our stay. It was so close to all the action; however, was far enough away to have some peace. The check directions were smooth. You can hear people outside with the windows open - and sometimes a bit late but it really wasn’t anything that would keep you up at night. Would absolutely stay here again.

I cannot say enough about this exquisite and wonderful home! Spotless, fabuous responsive hosts, helpful with great receommendations. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. The house wa so well organized and pristine! We will return and I wish we had longer to stay here. Just perfect!

This house is a gem in the An Spiedal area. The house is super private and in a great location, pretty right on the water with view of Water and Aran islands from the kitchen. I had coffee just staring at the sights every morning. You can walk around there property or take a short walk to the beach front. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The town has just enough stores and restaurants to get by and if needed, Galway is maybe 25 mins away. The hosts communicated well and gave clear instructions, read them all, will be useful on your stay. Whatever you need will be in the instructions they provide. Overall a great place to stay and relax. This was the third Airbnb we stayed in Ireland and by far the best in terms of location and scenery. Do visit Galway and also drive to Kylemore Abbey when you are here, both will not disappoint.

The accommodation is clean, spacious, bright and well-equipped, a separate building. It has a perfect sense of privacy and silence. Parking is inside the property, almost under the living room window. It was a pleasant surprise that the third person also got a full-size bed (in the description it was a pull-out sofa). The host was helpful and friendly, he was waiting for us upon arrival. We arrived at low tide, it was a special experience to walk on the sand of the sea and the rocks that had become dry. The stairs leading there are a 2-minute walk. All three of us were happy that we chose this accommodation. Thank you!

Everything worked great and the location is great. The view is better than in the pictures! We even got extra milk. Gladly again!

We felt truly at home here. The peaceful atmosphere gave us space to unwind, connect, and slow down from the usual pace of life. From the cozy corners to the quiet moments, this house helped center us around simple joys and really enjoy our stay on Inishmore.

Sharon was so welcoming and facilitated late check in for us as we arrived very late. The linens were immaculate hand the scones and jam and milk a welcomed treat on arrival! Great walking distance to pubs and live music

We felt right at home in Jackie’s cottage. The cottage was very cozy and we especially loved the modern bathroom and the terrace. Jackie was very helpful and she even came by to check if everything was alright. We had a lovely time and won’t forget Jackie’s beautiful place!

The host was very lovely and available. She even checked in with us in person. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. Couldn’t have asked for more. Great location in the heart of doolin. Would definitely recommend

Sandhills House exceeded our expectations. Nuala met us at the house and filled us in on everything we needed to know. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more! Nuala left us with a delicious basket of scones and breads. We walked to the beach and Sam the Boxer dog who lives down the street would go on walks with us. He loves to carry rocks in his mouth and gets excited and makes a game out of digging. Our first full day we had a flat tire on our rental car and I messaged Nuala. Her husband Decclan happened to be available and helped us as it would have probably taken several hours+ for the car rental company to get to us. They are both a gem! We stayed a week and went out sightseeing every day. My daughter expressed interest in milking the cows and her wish was granted and she got the full experience! What a treat for her to do and for her husband and I to watch. We hope to come back and Sandhills House is on that list of ideal places to stay!

Peacefull ,,,lovely garden for morning coffee ,clean simple and fitted description , Once booked everything was clear ,location Key ,woodburner ,wifi etc , would book again if in locality

Stunning cottage stay at Fiona and Seans holiday cottage ,beautiful scenery and great weather to go with it. Fiona and Sean are very friendly people and gave us some great imformation on the local restaurants and places to visit. We enjoyed treating little Elsa the dog every time we see her. Thankyou Fiona and Sean.

Ennistymon is a wonderful Irish village with great pubs, grocery stores and restaraunts within walking distance. The house is over 150 years old and furnished as I expect a typical middle class home in the early to mid 20th century was furnished. Nice large kitchen and 2 living areas. Books everywhere. This was our second time here and would recommend it to anyone. Note that it is a multi story house and the stairs were a bit difficult for my 71 year old sister. But that is no fault of anyone. Just be aware if you have older members of your party.

We loved our stay at Jacqui's place! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We did a day trip to the Aran Islands and enjoyed driving around Connemara, but the kids loved coming back to such a great house (with easy beach access!). We also loved the surrounding animals. Home had everything we needed (and more), and Jacqui was always helpful and quick to respond. What a beautiful part of Ireland 😊

We called him about a couple items like how to turn on the shower. He was speedy in responding and always cheerful. Great interactions
