Chalet holiday rentals in Lac-Mégantic

If it was for sale, we would ask to buy it, but it wouldn’t come with our wonderful hosts so we’ll continue to rent it! What a wonderful experience we had enjoying ourselves and beautiful Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec. We visit Quebec quite often from the states where we live and we have stayed in several places over many years and this is one of our favorites. Very nice place that we discovered and enjoyed as a family, everyone had fun. The services and the space allowed us to have a great time even with an ordinary temperature. Exemplary and fast service as soon as we had questions or concerns. Thank you Pascal…excellent host!

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) had a beautiful week at Domaine Gagnon. The site is beautifully laid out and maintained and the chalet had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and listening to the bird song. There is plenty to do in the area (beaches, hiking, etc). We hope to be back!

The Chalet was awesome. No complaints. The place was exactly as advertised, if we go back to Jackman for snowmobiling again we will 100% book with Darrick again.

Very beautiful cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped. Very clean, lots of wood to make many fires in the 2 fireplaces (1 inside and 1 in the heated outdoor living room). The village of Ayer's Cliff is 4 minutes from cars (restaurants, bakery, grocery store, small shops...). We stayed during the March break and went skiing in Orford which is less than 25 minutes away.

Excellent stay in this charming lakeside chalet, very well equipped. I highly recommend it!

Perfect location and house for our group of 10 that skied at Sugarloaf! The house is located insanely close to the mountain and serviced by the shuttle that’s on call during the week and a schedule on weekends so you don’t even have to drive. The home was incredibly cozy and fit our group well. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay and would return! Perfect for our two families looking to do some spring skiing. We got lucky and caught the last couple days of the ski in/ski out trails being accessible. Loved dinner at Portage and the hanging out at Moose alley. Highly recommend!

I went to the cottage with 3 friends and it was an amazing stay ! The cottage is amazing, lots of space and really clean. The bathroom is really huge that’s cool. Also the outdoors activities are really awesome too, football, badminton, spa, pool etc We used the firepit almost every night and really cool experience (they sell everything to lit it up at the town just next to it the cottage) The place was amazing, in the middle of the woods, you can hear the birds in the morning, quite impressive. To summarize, great host, great place !

From the moment we walked through the door, this place felt like home. Alaina has thought of every detail possible and I can definitely see myself returning.

Everything was perfect! We loved our group stay. The places were big, with areas to accommodate the whole group and spaces to be more quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The view was absolutely stunning — peaceful and picturesque, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. However, it’s worth noting that although it had everything we needed, it wasn’t quite large enough or stocked with enough dishes and cookware for our group of 16. Also, while the setting was beautiful, there was unfortunately no direct access to the water, which we had hoped for. Still, overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely consider coming back .

It was as described and everything was perfect. The place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking.

A real little piece of heaven! Directly on the waterfront, kayaks, spa, fireplace, BBQ, everything you need to have a good time! We love it... we'll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful week relaxing here. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful. The house is amazing, so spacious and clean and extremely well equipped. An absolute gem.

A true piece of heaven! The rental is simply perfect: the chalet is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and better maintained than any I have visited before. Every detail is designed for comfort and well-being. The lakeside setting is peaceful and enchanting, ideal for recharging. And a big thank you to Stéphane, who was always in touch with us to make sure everything was going well – his attention and availability really made a difference. An unforgettable experience. Very peaceful space isolated from neighbors which allows one to immerse in nature. Great spot to explore the lake and river by kayak. The indoor space was set up very well making it easier to spend time indoors S it rained much of our stay. The outdoor hot tub was great! Note that if you do bring a dog the shore is quite muddy so your pooch will get dirty. However there is a tub with a wand downstairs so cleanup is convenient. Thank you for a great stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless, beautifully located, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect place to relax and recharge. The view was stunning and made every morning feel magical. Communication with Yanick & Claudia was smooth, kind, and always helpful. They truly care about creating a welcoming experience. We also had an amazing meal during our stay — a delicious sirloin with fresh vegetables and salad that made the evening unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, nature, and top-notch hospitality. We’d love to come back!
