Waterfront holiday rentals in La Veleta

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was nice. We enjoyed the pools and the beautiful peaceful area that felt like you are in the middle of the jungle. Highly recommend.

Buen lugar para estancias largas, cuenta con lo necesario; pequeño pero cómodo, ideal para dos personas; está algo alejado de los puntos de interés si se va a pie, pero gracias a las bicicletas que Tania proporciona es fácil desplazarse. La zona está bien excepto que los caminos son de terracería. El jardín y la piscina son muy disfrutables. El lugar es tranquilo. No hubo ningún problema durante mi estadía.

Excelente apartamento con piscina (alberca individual) . En un complejo moderno y con decoración natural respetando el entorno de la ciudad.. Que tiene todo lo necesario para linda estadía en Tulum. Un consejo, tener cuidado con los accesos porque las calles son casi intransitables. El lugar no tiene casi recepción de señal telefónica. Tiene internet en la habitación. Y en la recepción del condominio. Con esas excepciones la la estadía, es de casi 100%. Sin dudas volvería.

El alojamiento es precioso y muy cómodo, tanto el departamento como los espacios de uso común. Las vistas también. La playa fue difícil de disfrutar por las rocas y el sargazo, pero está cerca del coral lo que permite hacer snorkel y ver muchos peces. Hay que tener en cuenta que la ubicación es muy alejada del centro y otras zonas turísiticas, por lo que sí o sí es necesario un automóvil para realizar actividades fuera del alojamiento (salvo un cenote que queda cerca y se puede ir caminando). De todas formas eso estuvo aclarado desde el primer momento, lo que nos permitió preverlo y por eso fuimos en dos autos, por lo que no tuvimos ningún inconveniente para visitar otros puntos de Tulum. Hermosa experiencia.

I stayed here for almost two months while working remotely, and would absolutely recommend it to others. The location is great, fast WiFi, a/c is super cold, staff is very friendly, and has everything one would need.

Mara’s place was exactly what I was looking for! It was my first time to Tulum and the location was incredible- so close to the beach and a very short distance from town. There are so many gorgeous beach clubs just 5 minutes away to enjoy. Mara was super communicative and helped me tremendously with whatever I needed- renting a bike, excursions, grocery stores etc. the place itself was extremely quiet, spotless clean, and exactly as described. Far enough away from the super tourist areas but close enough to tap in and enjoy the scene :) as a solo female traveler this was perfect for me. Everyone at the reception was also so helpful and lovely. Bed was super comfy!! I have never reached out to a host as much as I did on this trip (solo travel anxiety and first time to Mexico) and Mara was so patient and always available! Felt like I had a friend there with me. Highly recommend!!

This was a fantastic place. My husband and I came down for a quick visit and had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect down to the privacy, the outdoor seating, beachfront. I loved that I could open all the front doors and allow the constant ocean breeze to roll through the house. There were great restaurants and shops within walking distance from the beach. Our host very communicated with us from the time of booking till we left. He gave us suggestions for different places to eat and things to do. The staff was amazing! Every day the cleaning service would come by and tidy up the sand and the salt covered windows to keep a beautiful view all the time. Reed our host set up a Couples massage one evening at the villa that was so good. This was worth every penny, and so much better than being in the resorts.

We hadden een lastige start omdat er een probleem was met de elektriciteit toen we aankwamen. Hierdoor was er geen airco, geen water, geen wifi en konden we na de lange reis niet douchen of de toilet doorspoelen. Het probleem bleek niet in het huis te zitten maar bij het elektriciteitsbedrijf. Alex, ons aanspreekpunt, heeft echt zijn enorme best gedaan om dit allemaal zo snel mogelijk te laten verhelpen waardoor we einde van de volgende dag gelukkig gebruik konden maken van alles. Het huis is geweldig, de kamers zijn heerlijk, de locatie erg leuk. De wijk biedt leuke restaurants en barretjes op loopafstand. Alex reageerde altijd supersnel en was zeer behulpzaam. Het zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen. Het was heel speciaal om twee kleine gele vogeltjes in een nestje in de lamp op de patio te zien opgroeien en uitvliegen. We bevelen dit adres zeker aan wanneer je in Tulum, La Valeta wilt verblijven!

The setting was beautiful. Right on the beach. amazing sunrises, peaceful ocean breezes and sounds through the night. I was pleasantly surprised that the wifi was good. The refrigerator was larger than expected. I wish the kitchen had a large knife and a couple extra cutting boards for cutting fruits and veggies. My family is vegetarian. It would have been nice to have some tupperware for left overs. Overall a wonderful experience and great memories made. It was exactly what we were looking for in a quaint authentic beach experience. We had such a great stay! The place was clean, spacious, and had a cozy, homey feel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the pool was absolutely incredible — definitely a highlight of the stay. It’s beautifully maintained and gets plenty of sun throughout the day. The garden surrounding the property felt like a mini rainforest — waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning was such a peaceful experience. Gherardo was very accommodating and quick to respond, which made everything smooth and easy.

This place is heaven! I now understand why this place has a perfect review score: it truly lives up to all of the expectations set, and then some. The house is super peaceful and private-with two very helpful and friendly caretakers onsite when needed, but totally out of your way when not. We basically lived in the pool and adjacent palapa and just lounged for 5 days in this small slice of paradise. Don't expect to swim in the ocean (we got lucky and the sargassum subsided 1 afternoon) -- but its not an issue at all. The pool is amazing + there are so many cenotes and swimming spots within a 5-20 minute drive (15 mins from Xelha, highly recommend). The inside is exactly everything a couple needs - it felt like a luxury suite at a 5 star resort. Large comfy bed, nice bathroom, and decent sized kitchen and living room -- all super clean and well stocked. We grocery shopped and cooked a few meals + there are many decent restaurants within a 5-20 min walk or short drive. We will be back!

Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Deanna. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons trouvé le logement magnifique ! Situé dans un petit quartier très tranquille et bien entretenu. La piscine publique est aussi très agréable ! Coup de coeur pour la chambre des enfants avec le gros serpent, ils ont adorés ! ❤️

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ! This place was a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the best part was that it was lonely ! Juan Luis was very attentive and such a great host ! Only negative comment was that there was hardly ever any hot water. But other than that, it was great !!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Rancho San Eric. The Casita was comfortable and located a few steps from the beautiful south Tulum beach. We like peace, quiet and privacy and we got it! No loud "boom boom". Just the sound of the the ocean breeze. We are planning our next visit already :) This is a very special location and the property was extremely well run with an eye for detail. Thank you Stefan and Hui!

Nous avon passe un très bon séjour chez Daniel. Le logement est très bien décoré, le bassin de nage incroyable, une superbe atmosphère le soir avec les eclairages extérieurs. Nous avons bien profité du lieu. Petite suggestion : une bouilloire nous a beaucoup manqué pour faire chauffer l eau rapidement pour notre thé.

Es una propiedad nueva, muy bien decorada, cerca de Tulum y al mismo tiempo con privacidad, se compensa el tramo de terracería paga el acceso. El departamento a pie de playa en Tankah. La ubicación es ideal. Tres recámaras amplias y tu propia alberca. La playa al salir y una bahía tranquila y otra alberca. La atención del anfitrión fue muy buena a desde el primer contacto. Siempre disponibles y atentos a los detalles.

solo queremos agradecerles por una estancia maravillosa. Cada detalle superó nuestras expectativas: los colchones comodísimos, las sábanas limpias y suaves, las almohadas deliciosamente mullidas… ¡fue un verdadero descanso! Todo estaba impecable y cuidado con mucho esmero. El balcón fue uno de nuestros rincones favoritos, perfecto para relajarse. Realmente se nota el cariño y la dedicación que le ponen a su espacio. ¡Gracias por todo! Sin duda volveríamos encantados.

Si se busca tranquilidad, es el lugar ideal. Desafortunadamente nos tocó problemas con el sargazo, por lo que no pudimos entrar al mar en la zona del departamento. La alberca es muy disfrutable, así como el área frente al mar. La principal desventaja es que debido al fuerte calor, puede haber una fuerte demanda de energía eléctrica, lo que puede provocar corte en el suministro, lo cual nos sucedió durante 2 noches. El restablecimiento depende de la CFE, aunque, los encargados fueron muy insistentes con la compañía, lo cual se agradece. Igualmente, nos reintegraron las noches en que tuvimos estos problemas.

Estuvimos súper cómodos en este alojamiento, buena comunicación y atención desde el principio, viajamos con 10 integrantes y todos pudimos disfrutarlo, excelente lugar para descansar y disfrutar de la alberca, el alojamiento está en una muy buena ubicación, sin duda regresaremos!

We loved every minute of our stay at Daniels place. The apartment is lovely and has all you need for an incredible stay! The area Aldea Zama is for the sure the best area to stay when visiting Tulum. Muy acogedor e instrucciones claras de cómo encontrar el alojamiento. El primer día tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con uno de los servicios pero la atención de la anfitriona fue excelente ya que nos resolvió ese mismo día. La verdad si buscan un espacio para relajarse y desconectarse un poco de todo, este es el alojamiento indicado.

Amazing location! Beachfront and in an exclusive private beach. The bay waters are very calm so perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The unit is beautifully decorated and it’s very well equipped. The plunge pool in the large balcony overlooking the turquoise ocean was a great way to cool off without leaving the room. And the rooftops? Wow! The gym that overlooks the jungle and on the other side, a second large rooftop deck with a roof pool where you can see the most amazing sunsets, with ocean views of the entire bay. BBQ grill and pizza oven on the deck as well. The location is perfect, only 10 minutes on the main road, from Tulum town and the hotels beach area, away from the noise but a fast and easy ride to go enjoy a night in the town. The hosts were friendly, responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and we look forward to coming back to this paradise!
