My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

I loved the location and the place was big enough for my family.

We stayed in the house next to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a good size and well lit. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere. I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate your stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot- steps from the beach which is such a bonus traveling with kids. The view from each balcony was so nice. The small private pool was perfect too. I was in the master bedroom and the a/c worked great at night. We brought our paddle boards and the bay was a perfect spot for that. We saw a sea turtle! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. The beach bar/restaurantwas very disappointing. The first day they didn’t have fruit so no smoothies or blended drinks. The second day all they had available was beer and shots. So bring your own drink and food so you don’t get stuck without! We were a little disappointed that the beautiful sliding patio doors didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t keep them open for an ocean breeze (flys and mosquitos). We had a wonderful time and will definitly come back!

We loved CasAnica, it was in a great location, close to both beaches and a regular shuttle also was available to get us into San Juan Del Sur when we needed. Tony was also a great and accommodating host. We hope to come back to Nicaragua and stay again!

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about Casa Margarita. It was a wonderful trip, made even better by a communicative, helpful, engaged owner. I'm hesitant to write such a glowing review because I want it to be available when I return to Guasacate next year! It would be a fool's errand to try to encompass my thoughts, as I'd leave something important out, but it's a safe bet that you'll enjoy your stay at Casa Margarita. I'll certainly be back soon.

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super attentive. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and a little more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an amazing experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially those who surf, in view of the two “world class” waves located inside the condominium).

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

We loved staying at Casa con Tiki. It was perfect for our group, two families with a bunch of kids. Playa Colorado was beautiful, the waves were great, fun for everyone. The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

This is my second time staying with Miki and it definitely won't be the last. She is the best host you could ever ask for. She is always super responsive and proactive. The house itself is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and Miki is always giving recommendations for local events. The apt is super close to the beach. The internet works great.

Our entire stay was spotless. Everything was tidy and clean. The house was super equipped, both in the kitchen and in each of the rooms. Hosts were 10/10. I recommend that they stay if they want to have an excellent stay in Hacienda Iguanas

Everything was clean and clearly well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The attention to detail throughout the property really stood out, from the tasteful decor to the thoughtful amenities. It’s worth noting how well-equipped the home is: it has a generator and water pump, so we never had to worry about any disruptions during our stay—huge peace of mind! Our host was super friendly and maintained excellent communication from booking through checkout. Every question we had was answered promptly and helpfully, and it was clear they truly care about providing a top-notch guest experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and reliable getaway!

Charming complex and furnished apartment

It's one of the best stays I've had, I enjoyed it a lot with my family, the cleanliness was extraordinary, it's a very safe place. The house has all the equipment you can use to make your stay and trip more satisfying. We had the opportunity to deal with our host Hermann, he is a very kind person and above all he responds promptly and guides you with great simplicity. Also the person who gave us the house, her name is Betania, was very kind, punctual and gives very good recommendations for food places. I hope to return soon. Thank you so much.

What a beautiful villa & complex! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed & more (the kitchen is very well equipped). The view is directly across the bay & the town - it was lovely to sit outside in the evening on the veranda with a drink, looking out over the bay. The rest of the complex was very quiet whilst we were there, so we had the pools to ourselves most of the time! We had an issue with the WiFi, but it was resolved quickly when an engineer was sent over. I would certainly consider returning to this accommodation.
