My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

The house is beautiful, spacious and great for family events. Every room has a private shower and restrooms. My family was so happy with the house. 3 minutes walking distance from the beach and 6 minutes walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. We are definitely coming back to this house. Beautiful place and at walkable distance to the beach. It was pretty close to different attractions nearby. Jose, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely stay again when visiting Nicaragua.

Perfect beachfront cozy home you have everything you need there Just bring groceries from la colonia in Rivas we truly enjoyed it our kids did not want to leave!!! We will be back !!

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

We loved staying at Carolina’s house and really wished we could have longer. The house itself was beautiful and comfortable while the outside space also was equally enjoyable. Carolina was an amazing host who helped us so much, we’re very appreciative of her sharing that space they’ve built with us. It really does feel like a paradise when you’re able to watch sunset from that hammock or walk the beach at Playa Amarillo with no one around. It was fantastic having both the empty Playa Amarillo and Playa Gigante, with some walk-up bars/restaurants and small pulperías. We can’t wait to go back, and if you’re considering this area, this really was an amazing find to us.

Beautiful spot- steps from the beach which is such a bonus traveling with kids. The view from each balcony was so nice. The small private pool was perfect too. I was in the master bedroom and the a/c worked great at night. We brought our paddle boards and the bay was a perfect spot for that. We saw a sea turtle! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. The beach bar/restaurantwas very disappointing. The first day they didn’t have fruit so no smoothies or blended drinks. The second day all they had available was beer and shots. So bring your own drink and food so you don’t get stuck without! We were a little disappointed that the beautiful sliding patio doors didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t keep them open for an ocean breeze (flys and mosquitos). We had a wonderful time and will definitly come back!

Elias and Ralph were super friendly and helpful however Oscar was the real star of the show. Our neighbour just down the way, he was available to help with anything we needed and we felt incredibly welcomed the entire stay by him and his family. The house is lovely, the right kind of odd and set in a great spot just away from town. We were visited daily by birds, butterflies, fireflies, a kinkajou and a horse and her foal. We loved our stay.

Quiet with good security, nice views, high ceilings, very comfortable beds. Walkways can get very dark at night. Do not go out without a flashlight. It’s a little walk up to the pools, which are definitely worth a visit. No AC on the top floor, which got pretty warm. I think it was a great value for the accommodations. Cleaning lady came three times in a week. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Rakel

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to book this place in San Juan. A real gem a short walk from town with great access to everything. The house is incredible with everything that you need to have a great time - jacuzzi, BBQ, amazing kitchen all surrounded by incredible views. if you book with Tanguy, you will not be disappointed! This place was even better in person! We really enjoyed our time there. The view over the town and ocean is absolutely beautiful, and the infinity pool made it even better! — we spent a lot The casita was ideal for our daughter, brother in law, & mother — it gave them their own space while still being close by. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! We really appreciated the basic spices, oil, coffee, sugar, etc. that were provided. Cheryl was helpful with arrival instructions & recommendations for the best happy hour & nicest beach with hammocks. The location is the best we have found so far! We won’t hesitate to return.

We spent 7 days at this location. Great house with full kitchen and lots of room for 4 of us. Walking distance to the beach. Bbq area was a great plus. Conveniently located either drive to the town central core, markets or nearby beaches. But, have to have a car to enjoy the newly built road system, nature and nearby attractions . The host was great: friendly, helpful and easy to reach if needed. Property manager was great and right available if needs to.

Super recommended ! It is a super quiet environment, the house is super equipped, all the comforts to feel at home, a pool suitable for children and super close to the Bay.

The accommodation was very well located, close to everything and only a 15-minute walk! The accommodation was great and had everything we needed (full kitchen, towels, washer, etc.)

Her amazing team is always available and quick to respond to any needs, which made us feel completely at ease. Most importantly, we felt safe and cared for the entire time. Skip the crowded hotels and lodges around San Juan—this is where you want to be. We'll be coming back every chance we get!

The place is beautiful. It should be noted that it is located in a place away from downtown, which seemed good to me since we love silence. Keep in mind that you have to pass a river not very deep (we pass in a car easily). But it's worth it. 100% recommended to spend a few quiet days and get to know the surroundings.
