Beth was awesome to work with. Extremely responsive, and so kind and flexible to allow us to check in early with our baby so she could catch a nap. We used this space with friends for a wedding in that area and it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

I loved our stay with Ashley at Paint Creek Place! It was quiet, peaceful and clean! The place was very cozy and allowed us to watch tv, cook, enjoy nature and disconnect! We also brought along our dog who very much enjoyed the creek and the smells along the way. Thank you Ashley! I would stay again :)

This was our second time at the River Shack and it didn’t disappoint. Theresa is very friendly and responsive! I will recommend her place to anyone staying in the area. The river views and the garage are perfect!

Exactly what we were looking for our family of 4. Walkable to downtown and the racetrack! There is a park across the street at the school. Very clean and cute. Would absolutely stay again.

We had a great visit! Our two dogs loved watching for the bunnies and watching the cows peacefully graze across the road. We had a lovely picnic dinner under the pine tree on a beautiful night. Great area and we will be back. 😊

The five of us stayed only one night (including one dog) and we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Roxie (the dog) appreciated the instructions aimed specifically at her. We loved the view of the river out the picture window and from the high deck. The spacious open-plan kitchen-living-dining room is sunny, spotless, uncluttered, interestingly decorated, and homey. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms nicely laid out. I'd love to have a longer stay at Anne's house.

We enjoyed ourselves in Viroqua. We were bliss enough to walk wherever we wanted to go. Lots of restaurants, breweries, shopping to enjoy. Lucy’s house was comfortable and beautiful. Lots of space and had everything you needed. Thank you Lucy. We will be back!

The Holm was perfect for a mini friend reunion as we were all in town for a wedding! The sauna and 10 minute drive to the winery venue definitely sold us on the property. But it was also peaceful and charming with enough beds for what we needed. I almost wish we would have booked another night so we could enjoy all the little hangout spots outdoors!

Great place for a quiet retreat with the whole family

We loved our week at Lori’s place. The pool, the hot tub and the massage chair made it easy for us to fully relax and wind down for the week. The kitchen was also well equipped, but we also enjoyed some of the local restaurants as well and they were fabulous as well. The touch of local menus on the welcome pack helped us choose fun local spots. Would absolutely book this location again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Right off the highway but still felt tucked away. It had everything we needed for a good stay!

A very nice cabin with all the amenities we needed and close to the waterpark. It had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway. Had a great time with friends and family with the fireplace area in the back which really helped us feel relaxed and had alot of fun.

Nice place but pretty run down. The pictures don't really match what you see once you get there. The lake is VERY small, like a pond. In my opinion, it is not worth it to rent the pontoon, there is nowhere to go. Not a safe place for small kids. For 200$ or so a night, it was not my cup of tea, compared to others I've stayed at.

Perfect home for a larger family or group! We really enjoyed our time at Mindy’s home. There was plenty of space for everyone and the pool and hot tub were bonuses! We were in town for a wedding and Mindy was very flexible with check-in and very responsive and kind. Beautiful location with a ballpark right across the street. Highly recommended, Thank you!

Beautiful location & views, whether sunrise, sunset or stargazing. Peaceful & quiet. The kitchen appliances, utensils, outdoor grill, and stores in Richland Center (special mention for Richland Center Locker) make this a great place for people who like to cook their own meals. Beds and furniture left us rested and relaxed. Hope for clear skies during your stay so you can stargaze with minimal light pollution and listen to the coyotes and barred owls around the fire pit. To find a yurt in Wisconsin that’s not on the campground is a gem. This was not my first time, but was my fiancé‘s first time in a year and the experience couldn’t have been more delightful. As many other reviewers have noted Dan is a kind and welcoming host. His property fits those that are not looking for a five star hotel they’re looking for cozy/comfort just above backpacking experience to knowing that you won’t get rained on and you have a clean commode with toilet paper and a lovely beautiful warm outside shower. You don’t need much more to find joy. Our English cocker spaniel had a smile on her face the entire time Paisley smelt every blade of grass and wanted nothing more than to chase the neighbors horses and sheep, but of course we were respectful and let her look out the car window as we slowly drove by. The houseboat was a unique and fun variation on vacation stays. It was a busy marina but quiet by 9:00 so no problems with noise. Several nearby restaurants to choose from or could cook/grill on the boat. I communicated with Greg via text, he was very willing to help but no issues so no need for further communication. I would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful scenery and very quiet area. The drive over to the air BNB was incredible, almost felt like you were in another country! Lots to explore in the area, plenty of opportunities to take photos. The booking was simple, tidy and easily accessible. Friendly hosts with a good knowledge of the area. The freshwater spring was a huge perk to have access to clean pure drinking water!

Honestly, due to other reviews, I had high expectations. Paul and his beautiful home exceeded them all. Paul is a gracious host and had little touches that showed how much he loves to be a host (farm fresh eggs, kolaches, milk, etc.) The cabin itself couldn’t be more perfect. The scenery, wildlife, and coziness were exactly what I needed on this little vacation with my sister. It was the perfect getaway and more. Can’t possibly recommend travel to this destination enough. You are missing out if you haven’t visited before. My sincerest thanks to Paul. You have created the perfect example of Iowa beauty and Iowa nice. I can’t wait to visit again soon.

So you want some peace and relaxation? Stop looking and book this cabin. Everything is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The drive to the cabin had me so happy with its beauty and then I pulled up to the cabin and just wow. It did not disappoint. I immediately texted Kara to let her know I was in heaven. The lovely welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. The instructions for the house along with nearby recommendations was emailed to me but there was also a copy right as you walked in if you needed it which was great! The suggestions she gave were perfect! The town we went to was only 15 minutes away and had pubs, a diner with a GREAT breakfast, grocery stores and an awesome ice cream shop. On the last day there we took the walk to the Mt Zion Pub. Be aware it’s mostly on a gravel road with some good hills. About 2.2 miles and the burger at the pub was earned and GOOD! Great cabin. Peaceful and gorgeous. Mental Reset achieved!

Overall it was a great experience, next time I would definitely go alone or with 1 other person.
