House holiday rentals in La Crosse

We had a great stay. Host was very responsive and sent clear instructions for checkin. Location was really good for a family reunion we were attending in Caledonia, MN. Whiel the house is on a highway next to a motel, it was very private and quiet in the house. House has 3 bedrooms (each with a queen size bed) as well as a basement with 2 queen beds, so there was plenty of room for all of us. Most of the house was very clean and neat. There were a ton of amenities and the kitchen was very well stocked. The only bad thing was that someone had put away dirty dishes in the cupboards and drawers. Since the guest is supposed to clean all dishes and put them away before leaving, I am assuming that the previous guests did this. However, the cleaners should probably check for this. I would stay here again if visitng relatives in MN.

Stayed 2 nights and absolutely adored the location and everything it had to offer. Neighbors were very helpful when saw us struggling with cover. beautiful sites when on a walk, and beautiful hiking sites. Will be visiting again and made us almost want to move down there! best part we were able to bring our pup xena.

I booked this location nearly 15 months in advance for State track due to its proximity to UWL. Josh was very friendly in asking about our arrival, and upon arrival he had a bottle of wine for us and a nice note :) The house met every need necessary for us for our stay, that's for sure! I wasn't aware, prior to arrival, due to not reading probably some other reviews, that it was currently being inhabited versus being just a rental, but it felt like I was staying at a family member's and just felt comfortable and homey :) Because it was clear that they trusted us with some belongings they had in the house yet, it felt as though I could trust them. Not to mention we forgot a pair of sunglasses there and they texted asking if they were ours. This was the absolute PERFECT location for our purpose for being in town! Would definitely rent again but for the fact we are done with HS sports and on to college meets. Thanks, Josh, for trusting us with your home!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house! It’s centrally located, yet quiet at night, and the neighbors we ran into were very friendly. Our kids loved the heated pool (and the amazing pool toys!), and it was great being so close to the lake - each morning we walked the path/sidewalk to spot eagles and other wildlife. One night, we built a bonfire in the solo stove - super fun. Beau was also very communicative and responsive. Definitely a trip to remember!

Perfect home for a larger family or group! We really enjoyed our time at Mindy’s home. There was plenty of space for everyone and the pool and hot tub were bonuses! We were in town for a wedding and Mindy was very flexible with check-in and very responsive and kind. Beautiful location with a ballpark right across the street. Highly recommended, Thank you!

Our stay at Tim’s house was absolutely perfect with comfortable accommodations for our party of 8! He was incredibly flexible and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous weekend to enjoy the pool, hiking trail, and the gorgeous scenery! Very peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home - would DEF rent again!

We had a wonderful time at this house! Everything was clean and well stocked. With multiple bedrooms and living rooms this would be a great place for a family!

Beautiful and natural, quiet and private along trees and a trout stream. Many indoor and outdoor spaces, even for dining and relaxing. Well stocked kitchen appliances and little, homy touches like bandaids, Tide pen, games and puzzles. Only 8 minutes from the Shrine, 8 minutes from small-town prices, eats, and ice cream of Stoddard, and 15 minutes of downtown LaCrosse. Amazing stay.

Our family had a delightful stay. The home was cute, clean, and extremely well equipped. There wasn't one thing that we needed that wasn't provided. Lydia always responded promptly to questions. The location allowed for complete privacy and quiet downtime. We will definitely return!

Lovely home with a fully equipped kitchen! Michaela was extremely responsive and helpful. Only downside was the close proximity to the busy train tracks and the beds were rock hard.

We loved Cindy's cottage in the beautiful driftless area of Minnesota. Plenty of wildlife and gorgeous scenery; the cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. It even has ample hooks for hanging things! Hardly anyone does. The coyote serenade was nice too!

We had a wonderful trip! Thank you so much Judy! Judy made sure we were able to access the cabin upon arrival and made sure we knew if there was anything we needed she was available. It was such a peaceful place with such a beautiful view. Our family and dog enjoyed the stay and we definitely will be back for another visit soon!

Rachael’s house was exactly as pictured and described. It was in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is excellent and well-stocked for making meals instead of eating out if that is your choice. This is a great spot located between Winona and La Crosse with so many things to do! The Airbnb is located right next to railroad tracks but the host does provide earplugs to help with the noise. The directions were very clear to get to the home. The home was very clean and aesthetic! The host provided many board games and the house had lots to do for a quiet night in. Definitely would come back!

If I could give this 6 stars I would! This is the most well-stocked airbnb, and the perfect place for our girls getaway weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay while our boys competed at the WI State track meet at UW La Crosse! A quick, 20-minute drive got us out of the hecticness of the meet and into a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood. Arlene was accommodating and friendly, and the house had a charming cottage vibe with some modern fixtures and amenities. (The bathroom remodel was particularly nice.) We would certainly stay there again!

We had a great time staying here at Andrew’s place. It was so spacious and beautifully sat across the river. It was the perfect spot to host a family get together with access to the barbecue and outdoor fire place. They even provided all condiments needed in the kitchen with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom essentials. Andrew was very responsive and gave recommendations on near by entertainment.

We loved the creative use of the garage space as a lounging area. The house was clean and organized well with just the right amount of notes in the house to answer our questions. In addition, the location was perfect for us! It was surrounded in a quiet neighborhood close to our wedding venue. It was the perfect setting for us to come back and wind down in. Beyond the amazing place, Linda and Brad were also responsive and extremely helpful to our questions prior, during, and after our stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

This place is great. It's in a very nice neighborhood. Plenty of parking. House was very clean & plenty of room. It does have multi levels with no hand rails. Plenty of bed options of different firmness. Then outdoors had plenty of room with outdoor furniture, patio table, fireplace,grill,swing & plenty of fenced in yard. But the home theatre was the most amazing room. We enjoyed watching movies on the projector screen with surround sound.. I highly recommend this place. Plus the host communications was fast.
