Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Crosse

Beautiful and natural, quiet and private along trees and a trout stream. Many indoor and outdoor spaces, even for dining and relaxing. Well stocked kitchen appliances and little, homy touches like bandaids, Tide pen, games and puzzles. Only 8 minutes from the Shrine, 8 minutes from small-town prices, eats, and ice cream of Stoddard, and 15 minutes of downtown LaCrosse. Amazing stay.

This was our 3rd time staying here and it never disappoints! Such a relaxing and beautiful stay. It has everything we could need and we always find new things to do in the area. We also love the outdoor cats Lars and Sven so much! We enjoyed fish fry at Whiskey Row, had good drinks at English Prairie Distillery, visted Honkers for a great chicken wrap, and hiked a few miles at Ash Creek, and of course, Wild Hills Winery! We absolutely loved our stay here! The views from the many huge windows and 2 decks are amazing! We had 3 turkeys and a deer roaming the yard during our stay, which was so delightful. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed with nice extras. It was so relaxing and quiet there that we didn't even want to leave the property. We did go to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha which was fun and interesting. Wabasha is an easy drive from the house and has a grocery store and Kwik Trip for all your needs. Dale was very responsive to my messages and very friendly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Ardene was wonderful to work with. We so enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and love the spaces where you could sit and knit or read, while others played games or enjoyed the devk

We would for sure stay here again! We were there for our son’s college graduation. Beth had a welcome basket with treats and some drinks in the fridge along with a note of congratulations for our son’s graduation. There were plenty of beds and the beds were very comfortable. There were beds that were actually queen and king sized beds. We had 8 people and there was everything we needed in the kitchen and a grill with extra propane. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. We had enough towels for everyone. There were also extra blankets. We would highly recommend this house for anyone traveling to LaCrosse for any occasion. Thank you Beth and Josh for your hospitality.

Great private location with beautiful view of the river. Interior is a bit dated but comfortable furniture and well equipped. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Alissa’s home was just perfect. It had everything we needed for a short stay. I can see why people stay there often and longer. The beds - pillows, sheets, and mattresses - were so comfortable, and the kitchen & bathroom had everything we needed. The surrounding property made for a serene few days of reading & gazing at the river valley.

We were in town for my niece's wedding, this was the perfect place for my family to relax before the festivities, thanks so much for the accomodations!

We were looking for a two bedroom with kitchen and living space to celebrate the holidays. The Red Pines Air BNB was perfect. It was cute, cozy and comfy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The snow on December 23rd was perfectly timed. We live in Texas and don’t experience a winter wonderland very often. Watching the ice fishermen come and go was so entertaining! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the cafe and two meals at the Red Pines Bar and Grill with family and friends from the area. All meals were excellent! We hope to make our Christmas at the Red Pines a tradition. Thank you Corinna and Mike!

Lynn's place was very well appointed, tastefully decorated, clean, peaceful, private, and in a great location for a visit to Viroqua and the Driftless Region. Lynn was welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you Lynn!

Great place to stay. Right downtown and walking distance to everything. It is upstairs that could be tricky for some people but not a problem! Will stay here again.

What a unique and amazing place to stay in downtown La Crosse. Highly recommend!

This was a very nicely designed apartment in downtown Lanesboro where you can easily walk to shops and restaurants. Be forewarned however that you get to the apartment by way of a steep flight of stairs. The coffee shop downstairs is great too.

It was the perfect place! Home away from home with a ton of charm and comfort! This place is so nicely decorated and cared for. The views are amazing out the back bedroom windows. The place was serene and peaceful. We enjoyed every second we stayed. Diane was a wonderful host! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!

This is a great little space! I stayed here while starting a new job at Winona State, and it couldn't have been more convenient. In addition to being close to WSU, I was able to walk to all the downtown restaurants, the library, the co-op, the lake and the river. Steve and Nan are fantastic hosts who will make you feel very cared for. They are super accommodating, warm and friendly. They left fun little breakfast items including bagels, fruit, eggs and even fresh peanut butter from the co-op. Weather permitting, the outdoor space is a lovely spot to sit and read in the dappled sunlight. There is an additional room that can be added on if you need more space, which was perfect when my college-aged son joined me halfway through my stay.
