The Sassafras is our most private cabin. Secluded at the end of a driveway, it is surrounded by nature. One can hear the mountain streams from the large, covered porch. The furnishings are appropriately rustic yet modern in every since of the word. Free, dependable, high-speed, fiber internet and a smart TV are just two of the recent upgrades. In winter enjoy the floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace. Hike to a mountain top or visit a rushing stream...all without leaving the property.

Serene, rustic cabin nestled in the majestic mountains of Franklin NC. Soak in nature while rocking on the porch or warmth of the gas logs in the stone fireplace. Numerous acres of land to explore outside your doorstep, or easy access to white water rafting, hiking, gem mining, and quaint downtown Franklin. The Otter Creek Luxury Yurt is perfect for a Glamping getaway. With two bedrooms and a full bath, this yurt sleeps 4 comfortably. First bedroom offers a queen bed and access to a private porch; second bedroom offers two twin beds. A fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless-steel high-end appliances. The yurt features central air conditioning and heat, washer and dryer and an in-room safe is provided as well.

Our small rustic cottage is 2 miles from the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Bryson City is 20 minutes drive. Fontana Lake and pontoon boat rentals are 15-minutes away. The Upper Nantahala (for fly fishermen) is 15-minutes away. The Lower Nantahala, Snowbird, Buffalo Creek, Little Tennessee, and other well known fishing opportunities. The Appalachian Trail is within walking distance. The Cottage is on a dead-end county road.
