Japanese style house by the seaside~流-ryu-

LarissaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The area is very beautiful and peaceful. There are supermarket and convenience stores nearby in a walkable distance. You can hear the sea waves sound during the day. The house is bright and spacious, the internet worked pretty well for remote work in all the rooms. The kitchen has the basic amenities, the only downside is that the stove has only one hob, so if you need to cook two things for a meal it takes a while. Everything was very clean, the house has a washing and drying machine, which helped in keeping the bedsheets clean and also to wash our clothes on the rainy days. There are lots of nice onsen baths around to relax after a busy day. I loved the place!

網ノ屋 Beach House Ezura

EmmaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This house is clean, quiet and cozy. It's been a nice experience to stay for two nights. We enjoy the lobster restaurant and the Italian restaurant nearby. It's about 15 minutes walk to the supermarket and main street. Cooking facilities at the house are convenient too. Davide and Mayu are very friendly and responded quickly to our requests. In the second morning, my mother got fever. Davide drove us to the phamacy and hospital. It's really great to have someone who can support us when there's emergency like this. I really recommend this house if you are looking for a place to stay in Shirahama.

Stay in a renovated old house to support free schools.

This is a wonderfully renovated traditional Japanese cabin. Best bagels and bread!! Super community and school. Thank you to the kind host Midori and her colleague at the school who showed us around and who bakes the delicious bread. Support them by staying here.

"MaruHouse" Rent Out Whole house

AronRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay. The surrounding area has lots of beautiful scenery. Maru was a great host. Super helpful and with great local recommendations and always answered quickly. Maru House felt like a home instead of an anonymous rental. 5 minutes walk from the train station or supermarket, 2 minutes to Lawson. We stayed 4 nights and explored part of the Kumano Kodo trail, the Nachi Waterfall, the port, and even managed to go to an onsen with small children. We enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the beauty of rural Japan and meeting friendly people.
