Holiday rentals with beach access in Kūaotunu

lovely place for our family getaway. views of the water were excellent for seeing the tide and best time to walk along beach. the complex pool and spa was a bonus especially for our todler. clean tidy and appreciated it was well equipped with your basics, these little extras made it feel home away from home. thanks for having us

Had a perfect stay in this cute little spot after road tripping in a van for a week. The hot tub was an absolute treat, and the space was large for a studio, and tucked away in the jungle where it was very quiet. Exactly what we needed!

Perfect spot for Whitianga adventure, just down the road from all the restaurants and all the cool spots. So peaceful and quiet you can sit and watch all the boats heading out and coming back... even listen to the birds arguing on the estuary...

Great place to stay and friendly, welcoming host. Super comfortable and cosy and easy distance to everything. Nice a sunny with lots of natural light. Peaceful too. Will be back

My husband, my friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was as described, situated conveniently near both the beach and town. Especially appreciated was a second bathroom. John responded promptly to a query or two and offered helpful suggestions. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay there again.

Such a lovely place where you can find everything that you need (and that’s totally rare). Super comfortable and well-equipped! It’s very well located with stores around the corner, the beach nearby, and easy access to explore the whole area in coromandel. Highly recommended!

Great bach with lots of space, worked for our family group perfectly (including our two dogs - really appreciate you being pet friendly). Liked that the kitchen/lounge area was upstairs to take advantage of the view. Loved the window seat and the outdoor shower was very handy after being at the beach. Proximity to the beach was great too. Responsive comms throughout with the host. Otama Bay is such a special place, we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay in Opito Bay. The house has an amazing view, the beds were comfortable and it was a wonderful place to be with our young kids.

Found a gem at one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen (and we've traveled a lot)! Wide bay, gorgeous vegetation, hills, and perfect blue water - everything you'd expect from New Zealand's best. The soft white sand is just steps away (2-min walk). The house is an architectural standout with thoughtful design. Multiple terraces for different times of day, with the covered garden area being our favorite spot for working and barbecues. The beds are totally comfy which is an important plus, also everything was spotless clean - something we unfortunately don't get from every house we rent through Airbnb. You can tell this is a loved home - everything you need is available, from cutlery to glasses. No shortages here! An unforgettable experience we'd definitely repeat if given the chance. Thank you!

This place swooped our heart away. The seven star location with that tree, that beach, both Cathedral cove and Hahei center within walking distance, Hot Water Beach just a short drive away.. if you’re still in doubt, let me take that away right now here and now. And otherwise there’s Tina, ready to answer all of your remaining questions in a heartbeat

A uber beautiful and remote stay. We felt isolated in all the right ways. Gorgeous being in the midst of nature with some beautiful beaches for dipping/walking on nearby. Thanks Paul!

The most magnificent house with the most beautiful view. There is so much to see and do. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. We enjoyed the boat tour and the hot beach where you dig a hole in the sand and make your own little pool of hot water. Friendly people all over town. Had a wonderful time!

A very lovely stay with my friends at this place. Super cozy, with a beautiful sea view — we even enjoyed it on a very rainy day, so if it’s not summer, it’s still perfect for relaxing by the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Alan was great- he was very considerate with our check in time and although we stayed only for one night, he was brilliant with communication.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
