Tiny Canal House in Historic Gouda

Ons kleine grachtenpand ligt op een steenworp afstand van het historische stadhuis, het museum en de Sint-Janskerk, wereldberoemd om zijn glas-in-loodramen. Het aanzicht van het huis dateert uit eind 18e eeuw. En binnen zijn oudere elementen uit de beginperiode (1390) van het huis te zien. Gouda heeft een station en is centraal gelegen tussen Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft en Utrecht. De steden zijn aan te raden voor een dagtrip en goed te bereiken per trein. Ook bent u snel in Amsterdam.

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Retro-caravan "the Dutchie", 5 minutes from Gouda

This retro caravan in Dutch style for 4 people has a beautiful unobstructed view. Next to it is the same caravan, but smaller. This is converted as a bedroom with a large double bed. In het hart van Gouda en in de eerste Fairtrade winkelstraat van Nederland vind je ons pittoreske en authentieke huisje. Van alle gemakken voorzien met een fijne (gedeelde) stadstuin. Loop het beroemde poortje uit en verken het mooie Gouda! Baartje SandersErf is de broer van Bed&Baartje en zijn naast elkaar gelegen in het hofje.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! Central to Rotterdam, the windmills of Kinderdijk (7 km), Ahoy-Rotterdam (13 km) and Gouda (13 km). Also nice by water bus to Rotterdam or Dordrecht.
