You’ll love Scott Hill Cabin because of the view, ambience, and location. There are brochures in the cabin to see what options our area has for you. The actual address of the cabin is 1166 Orchard Road. We allow pets, but just ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We want to extend a military discount to our past and present service members.

The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 30 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour.

The Hobbit House

The Hobbit House is a tiny house (15x11'); Full size bed, futon/couch that sleeps an extra guest, outdoor claw foot tub, shower, electric fireplace, and outhouse with composting toilet. The tiny cabin has a patio, picnic table and fire ring. The patio overlooks a pond and is part of a 53 acre forested property in the Blue Ridge. WiFi is now included. Glamp in style! The main lodge is just up the driveway if you need to contact the host. FYI: Outdoor shower/tub is turned off in a freeze.

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

The Bungalow is a cozy not-so-tiny home at 420 sq ft. A 16x20 Gothic Arched building designed and built by the owner. Besides a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, and comfortable sleeping quarters, you will find wonderful amenities outside! Views of mountains, pasture, and woods. Relax in a hammock or tell your secrets to Drifter the horse. Often Mr Groundhog or the Deer family will visit, too. The Bungalow at Grandpa's Mountain is a quiet getaway.

Located just minutes from the Virginia Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, White Top Mountain and Mount Rogers National Recreation Area. There are many native and stocked trout streams nearby as well as great hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. The area is also known for great hunting and fly-fishing. What a great cabin! Everything was clean, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Short drive to Grayson Highlands, Damascus, and there is fishing in Laurel Creek just 5 minutes from the Cabin! Will definitely stay again the next time we are down here!

Cozy Hideaway is the perfect name for Jackie's place. We selected Jackie's place based on location. I communicated with Jackie initially and she was very helpful. We needed to be near AT, as my husband was section hiking from Marion to Damascus. Location was very important and this was the perfect HOME BASE. With the Railroad Store/Cafe (highly recommend) across the street, and having a stocked kitchen allowed us to make our own meals - which was great! The main living area opens out to a larger "open air" screened room. WIFI was strong, which also allowed me to work remotely with no issues. If you are section hiking the AT or just want a peaceful get away, I highly recommend "Cozy Hideaway".

Wally's place was fantastic! Super cute, charming, cozy place. Everything was very clean. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need...kitchen necessities, bathroom supplies, and even board games. Awesome location right in between Grayson Highlands and The Creeper Trail. The bed was comfortable. The home is in a very quiet, peaceful, rural location. Highly recommend!
