Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Konavle

Stayed here for 11 nights in May 2025, highlight was the beautiful green patio area. Everything we needed for the stay was catered for. Great central location. Iris was at hand for any questions/information we needed. Everything was as described. Thank you Iris!! 😊

This place is absolutely superb. It's a few metres from the beach with amazing views. It's roughly a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Cavtat. The family are lovely people and very helpful. The apartments are modern and clean with all amenities. At night put the anti mosquitoes adapter on, which are supplied and kept in the bed side drawer. I thoroughly recommend booking this place.

Kate and Niko were wonderful hosts and helped us with numerous things during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I loved it was a family owned and run apartment. The apartment is directly above restaurants but it was no bother to us. The view out the windows was heaven sent! Cavtat is such a beautiful village and the position of the apartment meant everything was right there within a few steps. We would happily return to Kate and Niko’s beautiful apartment.

We booked this beautiful place as a group of 4 for my husband's 40th birthday celebrations. Communication with Mato from start to finish was great, he was very responsive and even provided a complimentary bottle of fizz which was a really lovely touch. Location-wise, it felt private and had incredible views of Cavtat. I do feel like I should mention that it would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues as there are A LOT of steps and uneven ground. We were dropped off by taxi at Cavtat bus station and there's a short walk (no more than 10 mins) to get to Mato's place. The apartment itself is stunning, just like the photos. The beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. Fresh towels were provided during our stay and our bins were emptied. The outside space is gorgeous, we really enjoyed spending evenings in the hot tub overlooking the water. There are a few small jobs that need finishing off but it didn't bother us at all. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

I wholeheartedly recommend the Pero house. A house set in a mountain village, far from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature. The house is amazing! This is one of the most interestingly decorated places we have visited. Me and the kids were delighted with this stay. Everything actually looks even better than in the photos. The neighborhood is beautiful and the pool is the icing on the cake. Pero kept it clean every day. The neighborhood is beautiful, we were close to various attractions: interesting beaches, Dubrovnik, Montenegro. A car or Uber is necessary if someone wants to explore as much as we do. There are also plenty of vineyards and restaurants in the area where you can taste the wines produced there. I highly recommend this place. It's a real paradise. The house of Pero and Dubrovnik and the surrounding area was our dream vacation. Wanted to stay there for longer...

Marina’s place was so clean and in a great location. The views from the balcony were amazing! We would definitely come back again!

This place was great for a quick night in from the airport! It was easy to find via taxi which was offered from the host. It was a cute little room with a nice bed and tv just what I needed. It was close to a bus station to take to Dubrovnik which I really liked. Great stay!

Andrea was an incredible host! She helped us set up transportation from the airport to the Airbnb, she walked us to our apartment and then offered ice cream as a welcome to us! She was so kind and her space was very clean and beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. She showed back up at check out to ask if she needed to store our bags in between check out and our flight. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful city at this beautiful, well accommodating Airbnb. Thank you Andrea!

The place was really cozy! She made sure my wife and I had a really smooth check in, despite us coming really late!

The apartment was beautiful , spotless and the view from the balcony is amazing and so nice to watch the sunset. Very quick response from Sandra and Marina whenever I messaged. Offer to pick up and drop off at the airport arranged for us from Vicko which we used and even offered to drive us to the supermarket. We also appreciated the early check in and bottle of chilled wine . It’s only a few mins walk to the beach/promenade with a few beach bars and the boat to Dubrovnik. It is a lovely walk along to the center of Cavtat with numerous restaurants. We will be recommending this apartment and Cavtat to our friends and will stay here on our next visit.

My daughter and I absolutely loved this space. The host is so kind and sweet and would take our garbage out daily, replenish our towels and changed our sheets! We were there celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday and upon returning back to the apartment there was a gift and card with chocolates left for my daughter! It was so extremely thoughtful and sweet. The apartment has everything you mad need and also has a fresh bottle of wine, juice and milk in the fridge for your arrival. This was an extremely lovely experience. ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at Ana’s apartment in Mlini! Everything was spotless and very well organized, and the view of the water from the apartment was absolutely stunning. Ana was incredibly kind and always responded quickly to any messages. Highly recommend staying here!

We arrived late, but Ivana's parents greeted us with a warm smile and a heartfelt welcome, making us feel at home immediately. The apartment was clean and tidy. We can only recommend it!

Mirna was extremely welcoming and helpful! The Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon, it felt private but at the same time you can easily walk 3 minutes to the road to be picked up by a taxi or your own car. There is a freshwater stream going through next to the apartment that you can hear from inside which gave that amazing calming sound. If we needed anything we just easily messaged Mirna and she responds very quickly. She gave us recommendations on things such as markets. There is a restaurant at the nearby hotel (where you may choose to park) and the food is great and the prices are reasonable! My husband and I truly wish we could live here forever, it was amazing. Very heartbreaking to leave. Thank you again to Mirna for the amazing experience!

A beautiful apartment with a great view and a fabulous pool close to the centre of the town. It’s a short walk up the hill … easier on the way down than back up to the apartment! Cavtat is a really stunning location and the apartment was perfect for the 9 days we spent there. Really helpful and accommodating host and we will definitely return!

What amazing hosts Sandra and her family are! Great service, really friendly but also - just leave you to enjoy your holiday but on hand for help if need be. The apartment is really well appointed - spotlessly clean, good quality fittings, well equipped. The air con was a god send as it got hotter as the week went on. Bedrooms are a great size, the living room dining kitchen spacious and plenty of balcony furniture. Cavtat itself is a very pretty resort with plenty of good restaurants and nice walks around the bay. We took the water taxi to Dubrovnik which takes about an hour and you can get for €15 return. We also got the bus to Mlini which is worth a visit - €3.20 one way from By the Way - the restaurant at the bottom of the first hill near the bus stop. Walking down to the beach / centre there are two cut throughs - easy to spot if you watch where people are going. Uber and taxis back up the hill plentiful if you don’t want to walk. We mixed it up. The place was a perfect find for our family of 4 (2 young children). The place is a few minutes drive from the airport and it was easy to get around on the east coast by car or using public bus lines. The host was really nice and helpful giving recommendations about places to visit and where to eat. We also got to taste good home made wines, liquor and grappa, and also home made sausages, which where really good and felt especially welcoming. The kids loved the place and there was colouring pencils and paper in the appartment so they could draw pictures. The kids also loved the friendly dog Cookie, which lives downstairs :) All in all, we had a great holiday in Croatia which was mainly due the awesome appartment, recommendations from the host regarding places to see and also easy access to the sightseeings and restaurants, airport etc., from the appartment. Thank you so much for a lovely week :)

Ermila is very welcoming, helpful and available. The accommodation is very clean, functional and well located, allowing a breakfast on the balcony facing the sea. You can quickly access, on foot, small beaches and charming coves. Access to Dubrovnik and other small towns by water taxi is very appreciable. We had a great stay and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation!

We absolutely loved staying here. Igor was fantastic, really responsive and helpful, and even brought little chocolate gifts for the kids. The pool was amazing, the location near beaches and not far from Dubrovnik. Igor even proactively offered to help us out after noticing an issue with our car - cannot recommend here highly enough for a break. The area is a paradise, the hosts are wonderful and the villa is perfect. We’ll be back.

We are so very grateful for the exceptional help that Stanka & daughter provided when we arrived with an urgent medical need including making a doctor’s appointment & transporting us to an excellent physician. The apartment is very nice, very clean & well equipped . Such a kind & generous family. We feel very blessed to have stayed with them & hope to return in the future.

We had a great stay, the host is very welcoming. The accommodation is ideally located with a very beautiful sea view and lots of vegetation, enough to feel fully on vacation. The accommodation was clean and well arranged, it has air conditioning which is not an option in this beautiful sunny country. I recommend it!

Our stay was fabulous. We arrived earlier than the check in time and left far later than check out time due to our flight times and Ivana accommodated this without issue. I was celebrating a big birthday and my sister communicated with Ivana and I arrived to balloon’s and cake. A really lovely surprise. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Other than heating the pool (didn’t stop my family but I really don’t like cold water), I cannot and would not alter a thing. Its views are stunning, and I would 100% recommend Ivana and her apartment.

We stayed in the same apartment 2 years ago and unfortunately forgot to write a review. Returning just last week, we found the place equally to our satisfaction. Prior to our trip, Marko was extremely helpful with our requests and fulfilled them fully. Olivia the house-keeper was simply fabulous; so kind and helpful she was hardworking and always willing to assist. Two really pleasant stays in CAVTAT with Marko & Olivia and hopefully we will return sometime soon.
