Very comfortable Houseboat, mahony wooden walls, art nouveau style, with terras on very central location overvieuwing the river. After a break of 4 coronayears, we are back into bussiness. In that 4 years we took the chance to renew our bathroom, renew our steering wheel cabin, a lot of painting on the deck, 3 new roofdeck ligts, and some technical adjustments you cannot see, but will make your stay more comfortable. there is centtral heating and airco for hot summer days.

Great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance to literally everything! This was our second stay here because we enjoyed our first stay so much. Both times we’ve stayed here the weather was hot, so it’s nice that the apartment is nice and cool. The bed is also very soft and comfortable ♥️ The host was very helpful and answered quickly, which made the entire experience smooth and easy!

We loved our stay at Peter’s houseboat! It is so quaint and makes you feel like a true local in Amsterdam. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful park across the canal. 10-15 walk to everything. 5 minute walk to the tram. Peter was also very responsive and had great directions. My favorite part is how comfy the bed was, coupled with the deck chairs on the boat. I would highly recommend to all friends and family!

The apartment was exactly as described. It was a perfect place for my 18 year old and me to have as a place to stay for our adventures around Amsterdam. Everything seemed to be a close walking distance to us. We arrived via train and it was an easy walk even with luggage from Centraal Station. We let Meike know what time we would be arriving and she was there to meet us and give us keys. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt completely safe. We felt great coming 'home' here every evening. The hosts provide a very wonderful guidebook with all sorts of recommendations for the area if you're a first-timer or even a returning visitor to A'dam like myself. We will most definitely recommend this property to our friends and will return when we make our way to Amsterdam again.

Terrific place! The corner location with windows on two sides meant that the apartment was bright even in gloomy weather, and the views over canals on both sides provided lots of interest. It's a great central location-- we walked everywhere we wanted to go-- and yet was quiet at night. Definitely recommend.

The traditional canal home was incredibly beautiful situated overlooking the working canal and the green fringe of Vondelpark, the area had a little more laid back locals vibe than that of the tourist centre of the city. The room was very beautiful and considered with all the amenities you need. The bathroom was great and the daily cleaning was mind blowing, it some of the best detailed cleaning I have ever experienced. Johannes we can’t wait to come back thanks for your amazing hospitality

The location was just perfect! Really near to the red light district but in a quiet neighborhood at the same time. It's 10 minutes walk from the Amsterdam Centraal station. The bathroom is big and so clean. Would highly recommend this place.
