A short drive from Ylläs ski slopes and other services. Fishing spots, berry picking terrain, and ski trails are all nearby. In the summer, you can take a dip in the river in the backyard, there are duck trees to the shore from the cottage. 200m from Äkäsjoki, 15min drive away, one of the best salmon rivers in Europe, Tornio River. Private cabin for independent travelers.

This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The cottage is located on the shore of Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove, and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is fetched from the river with buckets and heated in a wood-fired sauna stove. The property has a really nice outdoor area. You have two sup boards, life jackets and paddles.

Private log cabin in the middle of Finnish nature

Almost a hundred years old log cabin that's been renovated to fit some modern needs. The cabin consists of a large kitchen/living room area and two bedroom which both have beds for two people. Couch in the living room can also be turned into a double bed. There is an indoor dry toilet, also outside toilet. The cabin does have electricity and is equipped with e.g. tv and a microwave. There is both a gas stove and a wood-burning stove. There is no running water, water point is 50 meters away

The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.
