This lovely detached cottage is based on the edge of Kiltarlity on the family Croft (small farm) and without a doubt is a superb base for exploring the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. The popular village of Beauly is only 4 miles away and offers a very good range of shops and restaurants, with Inverness, just 12 miles away. Loch Ness only 9 miles ‘over the hill’. Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

Lord Lovat’s Waiting Room

A charming self contained cottage style apartment in what was formerly Lord Lovat’s private waiting room in the Old Station, Beauly. With its own front door, large double bedroom and sitting room (with wood burning stove) it is an ideal retreat for a quiet weekend or for a couple wanting to explore the Highlands. Its bathroom has a lovely shower, small kitchen with two ring hob, conventional oven and microwave. Just a few minutes walk from the village it sits on the Highland Rail line.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. The hosts live next door, but the studio has its own private garden area and plenty of parking. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.
