We had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were cozy, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the space felt both welcoming and peaceful. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, offering helpful tips about the area and making check-in seamless. The location was perfect but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. If you are looking for a more relaxing alternative to the typical Ring of Kerry package tour then consider booking this cottage. This cottage has a beautiful location, a helpful host and friendly dogs and cats. It’s an easy drive from Killarney and the gap of Dunloe, great walking trails abound, and the space is just perfect if you are looking for a relaxing cottage getaway. I definitely plan on rebooking here if I am ever again in southwest ireland.

This place was great. It is on a quiet cul de sac off a country road just outside Killarney. It is a private quiet location but a few minutes ride to downtown Killarney. The home is beautiful with huge windows over looking an awesome backyard. The view is spectacular as you can see the mountains in the distance and many farms. Inside is great, spacious and clean with all modern amenities. We stayed with my wife, mother in law and 2 teenage daughters. It was a great base camp for the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, and Killarney National Park. We even drove to Blarney and the Cliffs of Moher! We would go back in a heartbeat.

John is a wonderful host… so helpful and welcoming. The cottage is peaceful and serene, in a wonderful location to visit many attractions and beautiful areas of Ireland. We appreciated the breakfast items they provided from their dairy farm!!

I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world—from bustling cities to quiet countryside escapes—and I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Every detail exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the cleanliness was absolutely outstanding. Spotless from top to bottom—not a speck of dust, not a fingerprint on a surface. You can tell they truly care about hygiene and guest comfort, and it immediately made me feel at ease and relaxed the moment I walked in. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the incredible hospitality. They provided incredibly helpful and curated information about local sights, hidden gems, dining options, and even personalised recommendations. If you're considering booking, do it. It’s a rare gem and I would return in a heartbeat. I already miss the peaceful sounds of birds chirping.

Pam’s place was great! There was on site parking ( not street parking), the neighborhood was extremely quiet and family oriented. It was close to the downtown and easily walkable. Pam also left us breakfast goodies and homemade bread and fruit which was highly appreciated. She also had other nice touches like fresh flowers. Plus, the place was spotless (yeah!). It sleeps six, but there was only two of us so it felt very luxurious to be able to spread out. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay. just outside the main area and a 20 minute walk into town. Having a place to park was a huge plus. The area is quiet, everything was as described and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

For adventurous travelers looking for an experience rather than merely a place to stay, this place and location has a lot to offer. After staying at chalets and places convenient for one night stops, it was fun to drive through Glengariff Nature Preserve through the winding roads up into the hilltop location surrounded by woods with openings looking out over the beautiful hilly terrain. Chopping wood to heat the small apartment heightened the feeling of living as one of the locals for a while. We appreciated Gesine’s helpful notes to get there and enjoyed chatting with her about life in this peaceful place. While day trips taking the ferry to Garnish Island or driving over Caha Pass to Killarney National Park were nice, we are glad we took advantage of the location and spent time away from tourist-filled areas to enjoy quiet, peaceful hikes along the nearby Riverwalk and through some of Pooleen Woods. This was a great addition to our first-time travel experience in Ireland!

Joe and Lucille were amazing hosts. They were quick to respond to our questions and were very helpful in providing guidance for our outings. The place was cozy and very close to everything. It was a perfect base while we spent time in Killarney.

SkelligSide apartment was a wonderful place to stay. The interior was magnificent complemented with tubs of cheerful flowers outside. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The appliances were great for self catering and it was a treat to have a dishwasher. We also used the washing machine, which had a quick cycle. The road can have fast traffic so we weren’t sure if we had reached the correct place. Fortunately we recognised the house from the photo. There is no sign by the entrance but it has wooden gates. Marilou is a delightful lady and communicated quickly if we had any questions. We would definitely recommend Marilou’s apartment to anyone, who appreciates an immaculate, well equipped place in lovely surroundings.

We really enjoyed our stay. William was very response, helpful and friendly. The space was perfectly clean, comfortable, quiet and climate controlled! Thank you!

where do we start? John was as friendly and gentle as they come. Hid place was perfect and adorable. Kitchen, washer Dryer and a real King Bed! ....just what the doctor ordered. Location Location Location! Marie's place was very nice and close to everything in Killarney! The place was clean and very comfortable! I could not recommend this place enough for your stay in Killarney!

Me and my partner found staying in andrianas place very peaceful and relaxing, only 10 minutes outside Killarney town which was ideal for us and the view is absolutely beautiful from the hot tub honestly have never seen a place like it before, I was very happy to come across Andrianas place and would definitely go back again, Andriana herself and showed us how to work the jacuzzi and was very accommodating. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a peaceful break away

We reserved John’s space for two nights in order to to hike Skellig Michael while in County Kerry. Early in the trip I realized my travel mate was quite the snorer! John was so helpful in getting us his second rental so we could each have our space and I got some good sleep after not having that a few days! The place was quiet and peaceful and a stone’s throw from town so it allowed serenity while also providing access, which was perfect! Thanks so much for your help John!

Fantastic stay for our 4 days in Killarney. Hosts were amazing and the space was huge and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The kitchen was wonderfully appointed (better than ours back home!) and allowed us to cook several meals at "home" which was very helpful. The kids LOVED the dogs, too! The location was perfect, just minutes from the Gap of Dunloe and maybe 12 minutes from Killarney Town. Laundry room was very welcome and perfect for the midpoint of our road trip around Ireland. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Staying with Carmel is OG Airbnb, where there is actually a local host not an off-site corporation who owns the property you’re staying in. Carmel was wonderful and so welcoming. I was traveling alone and I really appreciate when it feels like I could reach out to the host if I have trouble without being a bother. The place itself is spectacular. They also have an actually stocked kitchen with more than just salt and pepper, which is soooo grand because you don’t have to spend money on an entire bottle of oil or butter or jam for a couple of quick meals. I hope to go back one day!
