Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ķesterciems

We had a wonderful stay at Margarita's house. It was exactly as described, with a lovely and sunny garden. The highlight for us was definitely the sauna, followed by a refreshing dip in the water – it was the perfect way to relax.

Agita was very welcoming, giving me some fruit and veg she'd just picked from her garden, and helped me out with the Jurmala fee - you need to pay to pass through Jurmala which will be an unexpected thing for most people. It was a stop-off point for me for a night, so I can't really say how it works if you're exploring Jurmala.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Gegend sehr genossen! Unser Gastgeber Eric waren sehr nett und wir haben uns immer sehr offen unterhalten! Ein tolles Land mit sehr netten Leuten! Wir hoffen dass es in Lettland weiter so geht und der Frieden für Alle erhalten bleibt!

Tieši tas, kas mums bija nepieciešams. Garas brīvdienas bez steigas un ikdienas darbu burzmas. Televizora vietā pasakains skats aiz logiem (jā, arī stirniņu redzējām). Izbraucām ar pieejamamiem riteņiem un spēlējām galda spēles. Un, protams, jūra. Viss, kas brivienām nepieciešams. Skaisti trauki, skaists tekstils un protams pati māja. Paldies!

Ļoti mājīga un skaista mājiņa – viss bija tīrs un kārtībā. Sava bija ļoti atsaucīgs un pretimnākošs. Pirts un karstā baļļa tika sagatavotas uz norunāto laiku, kas padarīja mūsu atpūtu vēl patīkamāku. Ļoti ērta atrašanās vieta – veikals ir tepat blakus, un līdz jūrai tikai 5 minūšu pastaiga. Mājiņā bija viss nepieciešamais komfortablai dzīvošanai. Noteikti iesakām un labprāt atgrieztos vēlreiz!

Lieliska vietiņa, kur pavadīt laiku tuvu pilsētiņas centriņam, 20min pastaiga līdz jūrai. Skaista detaļas un dabas veltes interjerā. Izmantojām gan baļļu, gan pirti. Ļoti jauka nojume, lai ārā pavadītu laiku - šūpoles un atpūtas krēsli. Vislielākā vērtība - brīnišķīgā saimniece ar ar sirdssiltu atsaucību un sanbernāra meitene Dafne 😍 uz tikšanos nākotnē!

Wir waren zu zweit eine Woche in der Unterkunft und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist einfach und klein. Man läuft ca. 10 Minuten zum Strand. Es ist ein wundervoller, sehr sauberer Strand mit dem feinsten Sand, den ich je gesehen habe. Man läuft in 5 Minuten zum Bahnhof, von dort fährt zwei mal pro Stunde ein Zug nach Riga (ca. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit). Auf diese Weise kann man wunderbar die Vorteile einer Städtetour mit einem Strandurlaub verbinden. Und Riga ist eine der schönsten Städte, die ich je gesehen habe. Inese war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns perfekt unterstützt. Danke!

Levas guest house is beautiful. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. Everything was clean and very well maintained. There was plenty of bedding and towels. We loved the hot tub and the large grass area to the side which had a fire pit and loungers and a BBQ. Leva left plenty of fire wood, both for the hot tub and fire. The house is set in a clearing, and you do have houses facing you, which was not shown on the photos, but it was not a problem. Leo the cute dog from across the way also came to visit us, super friendly. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and is very pretty. Leva and her lovely family came over to greet us, and helped us settle in. They even allowed us to put a tent on the grass, which really helped us out. Thankyou for your hospitality.

El apartamento de Aija está en una ubicación excelente, facil de encontrar. Había sitio para aparcar al lado de casa. Buena zona para pasear y muy cerca de la playa. Dentro encontré todo lo necesario y más. Es un piso precioso, recién reformado, muy moderno y de excelente calidad. Volveré encantada!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem netten kleinen Häuschen ganz nahe am Meer. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und es fehlte uns an nichts!

We enjoyed the garden a BBQ. Walking to the beach is easy. Quiet place!

Well equipped and lovely apartment, thank you! There are some minor inaccuracies in the listing though. There was no information to access on-premise parking, but street parking was easily available. It is a low season now, wasn’t an issue for now. The beach access is available, it takes some 7-10 minutes to get there and needs to cross a relatively busy street. But then the beach is lovely with a restaurant nearby. Overall a good experience, would visit again!

It was a pleasure to stay in Vladislav's apartment. It was very clean and featured a very large garden. The apartment is situated on a quiet street with no traffic on one side, yet on the other, it offers easy walking access to multiple destinations: 15 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to the railway station. There are also several supermarkets close by. Vladislav is very kind and highly communicative. He provided many useful hints and ideas about places to visit. He was always happy to help with any questions and responded almost immediately. My wife and I can recommend Vladislav and his apartment without any hesitation.

Mila's apartment was fantastic. clean, really spacious and a short walk from the beach. we have been to Jurmala a few times but this apartment made it even more special. and to top it off there is also a fantastic sauna in the apartment which was used on a regular basis. thanks Mila for a wonderful holiday.

Good deal for the price and close to the train - ideal for short stay.

Had a wonderful vacation together with my best half and 2 kidos. Perfect location with playground for kids, spa, pool, excellent restaurant, seaside and a beautiful pine forest. Apartment felt like home, well equipped for both short and long term stays.

Brīnišķīga vieta harmonijā ar dabu pie paša meža. Dzīvoklī viss nepieciešamais ikdienas dzīvošanai.

Хорошее расположение в тихом месте в хвойном лесу. Квартира очень удобная, в хорошем состоянии. Хозяйка очень приветливая. Надеемся, что приедем еще.

Agitas mājoklis patīkami pārsteidza! Fotogrāfijās jau tas bija labs, bet dabā ir vēl daudz labāks. Kamīns, kuru var vērot gan no guļamistabas, gan no dzīvojamās istabas, radīja mājīgumu. Gulta ir tiešām milzīgā un ērta. Kvalitatīva, dabīga gultas veļa. Vannas istaba ir plaša, gaiša un ļoti skaista! Ļoti iesaku!

Everything was great - the place was very clean, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the snack bar with very low prices - a small touch that made big difference. Thank you the hosts for the warm welcome and attention to details. 👌

Mājoklis bija ļoti tīrs, skaists, baudāms. Skaista atrašanās vieta, dažu metru attālumā no jūras. Ļoti sirsnīgi un atsaucīgi īpašnieki. Iesaku citiem un noteikti vēlētos atgriezties. 🌸

Great stay in Engure! The host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was small, cozy, and just like the photos—clean and tidy. Excellent location. We were told to check out a nearby cafe, "Vieta 62", where the host's husband is behind the scenes, and they even offered a discount. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit as we were traveling further. Everything worked out perfectly for our one-night stay. Highly recommended!
