Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kent Island

This place truly was charming! It was a peaceful home and just as described in the listing. Great value and plenty of space for our family of 3. We came because we wanted something close to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and it was the perfect, close location! Also not far from the little downtown for a nice dinner out at RAR brewing over the weekend, and Rebecca was helpful in suggesting good local spots to check out. Rebecca was a great host, providing clear instructions & communications before, during & after our stay. Her family home felt cozy & inviting, and she was great with all the little details that made the house feel special! We would recommend this place & would stay here again if we're in the area!

What a beautiful little spot of heaven at the end of the long driveway nicely tucked back with orioles, bunnies and even two kitties running around outside, inside is the so quaint and comfy and clean. The view out the windows gave peace and the fireflies at night were so cool. Stanley went above and beyond to be accommodating on our trip and his place is top notch. 10/10 would stay again

The property, location, house set-up, and communications from the management during our 6 day stay was amazing. Literally the best low-key, relaxing experience I have ever had in recent memory. The house has everything you need for a great peaceful stay, especially if you are just hanging with a small group of close friends. Cooking is particularly awesome, as this property has a great wide open kitchen. The grounds are beautiful. We spent most of our time on the main floor in the kitchen and then on the long beautiful dock where we did some fishing and first time crabbing just for fun. The town nearby and neighborhood is so nice. Not far from Annapolis, MD at all if you want to visit. But honestly, the property alone is so nice to just to stay in and just relax. Great space with some homey accommodations. Big shout outs to one of the property management team members, Melissa. She was so very helpful. Will be back again next year!

Just a wonderful location. Very private and the property is beautiful. The house was well-equipped; it included a couple of kayaks that we used on the Choptank River, where we saw ospreys, eagles, and even a beaver. The beds were comfortable and the decor and other items in the house were very interesting. We likely will be back some time.

The place was wonderful. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was more than well equipped. The setting was beautiful. The outdoors was perfect. Great outdoor furniture. The Bayview was unbelievable. The house in relationship to recreation is spot on. I can’t say enough great things about the place. I will definitely be booking again and again.

We were looking for a relaxing getaway, and saw an opening at this property. Booked for two weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay… Very large property on the water.. fields and wooded, very quiet, very peaceful. A long dock with a great view of the bay. Supermarket nearby, a couple of very good restaurants. Richard had the house stocked with literally everything needed…. All we provided were groceries! Ducks, geese, herons, ospreys, egrets, songbirds, and several deer provided daily entertainment. Communication was excellent, responses just about instant. Got a chance to meet Mark, who provided some interesting history of this family property. To sum it up, highly recommend!!!

There were many more amenities than what was listed. It was much better than most 5 star hotels! The area was really nice and peaceful, all the neighbors just wave hello to each other, large property with BBQ, hammock, shed, table and chairs to just relax outdoors, a tub for an intimate time with a narrow cross table to set down your champagne, etc etc. The kitchen / dining room / family room was a large open area with so many utensils and items of convenience. It is pet friendly and there were items for the pets as well, a first aid kit, etc. It is a beautiful house on one level, very comfortable, extremely quiet and peaceful. Vicky was in communication throughout and gave clear and concise instructions, which made things very easy for us. Upon checking in, there is a booklet with all the guidance and instructions, information on sites to see and things to do, local restaurants, etc. She has really though of many things to make one's stay as comfortable and as easy as possible

This is a beautiful, well-maintained farmhouse near Easton, MD. We were in to celebrate our son's completion of the Cambridge Eagleman 70.3 triathlon and his recent engagement. The home was fairly priced, well maintained and comfortable. Edwin was excellent with timely communication and upkeep of the property. We would consider staying here again if in the area. Thank you.

Staying at Shawna and Keith's cabin was a wonderful experience. Peaceful and serene, it was relaxing just to wake up in this private oasis. Shawna and Keith were very friendly and easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. They even provided items for some of the activities we decided to try while staying there. The cabin was clean, quaint, quiet, well-equipped; and looked exactly as described. We would definitely return for another weekend getaway! Thanks again!

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

We found Paul’s home very comfortable and accommodating. Paul was accessible when we reached out to him and he communicated well with us. It was a very nice location with a fantastic view of the bay, as we hoped for.

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!

Heather's place was as described. Clean and neatly organised. The linens and towels were very clean. The facilities available were adequate. The kitchen is not a full kitchen but has enough for heating. We had left some medicines behind and Heather and her team spotted it, and communicated the same to us. In addition, they took the trouble to drop it off at the local FedEx office.

I stayed here the week of my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! From waking up each morning to have coffee on the dock with my pups and husband, to the beautiful views from each room in the house, we truly had a lovely time and chose the right Airbnb for such a special week in our lives.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The space was the perfect getaway for us and our pup especially loved all the walks nearby the property! The space was clean and well-decorated and felt like a relaxing escape from the city. Martha was very responsive and gave great recommendations for places to eat and take hikes. She even provided treats for our pup, which he loved! We are definitely coming back soon!

My stay was absolutely incredible truly beyond anything I expected! One piece of advice: definitely have transportation, as the property is on an island and things are a bit spread out. That said, I enjoyed a lovely walk into town where I dined at some charming local spots and even did a little boutique shopping. Be aware that Uber and Lyft aren’t readily available in the area, and when they are, they’re pretty pricey. But honestly, the property itself feels like something straight out of a Lifetime movie peaceful, picturesque, and exactly the kind of escape I didn’t know I needed. I can’t say enough good things about this stay… so I’ll just say: BOOK IT!

5 adults, 2 children under age 6 stayed at Courtney's home, which was just as described and pictured on the airbnb web page. Great location for our stay for wedding weekend; very comfortable furniture (sofas, chairs, beds; many amenities provided for guests; terrific well-stocked kitchen; very large screened-in porch w/ nice view of Chesapeake Bay and surroundings; spacious bedrooms; 4 full bathrooms; very clean when we arrived. I could go on .... Courtney is a very good communicator, and responded quickly to the few questions we really had. She is a great host and the house was terrific for our needs.

Michele and Matt were wonderful hosts and the location and stay were absolutely lovely! It is a perfect get away from the city and an easy drive to Solomon’s for restaurants. Highly recommend and we hope to be back :)

We had the BEST time staying at this beautiful home this past weekend while we were in town for a wedding. The location is absolutely perfect for a peaceful weekend on the water and this house is a DREAM. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your incredible home!

I loved Julia’s Arc. First time I Airbnb’d in a houseboat; won’t be my last. I loved this experience! Julia’s was inviting, comfortable, well appointed. I enjoyed sitting on the upper deck but even sitting inside with the blinds up and the windows open afforded the sounds of the water while enjoying the view of the marina and boats. I wish I had more time here to explore more. This was exactly what I needed for some time alone.

Ruby on the bay lives up to its name. Such beautiful surroundings - loved being on the deck hearing the wind in the pines. I was grateful to unplug! Excellent size for my sister, me and our fur bosses. Could have comfortably fit 2 - 3 more adults. Nikki was instantly responsive & informative. I would love to return.

Cannot put into words how wonderful our time was at Away at the Bay! Just left my soon-to-be SILs bachelorette trip and the entire weekend was nothing short of incredible. Thank you so much to Ryan and Eric for creating such a wonderful experience in a place that truly feels like home but BETTER! Memories we will cherish forever.

We stayed in this house for our son's Naval Academy graduation/commissioning. It was absolutely perfect for our group. The drive across the bay bridge took anywhere from 35-45 minutes depending on the traffic. At no time was the traffic as bad as we've experienced it on the DC side of Annapolis. We crossed the bridge 1-2 times a day during our 7 day stay. As soon as you get to the island and head south there is no traffic and it's a beautiful, peaceful drive. The house is perfect for entertaining with two large rooms inside on the main floor. There is a large island in the kitchen room which makes for a great serving area. It rained during about half of our visit so we made good use of the space indoors. Our children used the fishing poles, kayak, soccer nets, ping pong and fooseball table. Negin was very responsive in answering our questions and even worked it out so we could check in early. We would definitely stay there again if we had the chance.
