Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kennebec County

If you want a private, well furnished home in the woods with fishing access on the stream and 2 fire pits this is your place!! Staying at this house made a work trip for my crew and I, feel like we were on vacation for 2 nights while staying there. Worth the money and great hosts!

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

A five star setting in a true Maine oasis. If you're looking for a great , clean and comfortable house with a pondfront setting in a small Maine town, look no further. Every amenity you would hope for is there. Furniture is nice and lots of homey personal touches. Great bed which isn't always the case in even better AirBnBs. Hosts were good communicators and responses to questions came quickly. No complaint on anything. Dog friendly is a bonus!

What a great spot! I was on a bicycle tour through Maine and didn't know exactly when I'd arrive. Erika responded quickly and answered my questions, and the house was spotless. I loved the décor and I had a great time reading in the front sunroom area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and I walked to the main strip to buy groceries at Buddies. I'd definitely rent here again if I'm in the area.

The area where Sofia has her Airbnb is a close favorite to Vienna where I spent many summers at my father’s camp. It is a beautiful home and very close to the water. My family came from as far away as Australia to be there for my father’s interment in the Mt. Vernon community cemetery. Sofia was gracious and allowed our extended family to stop and say hi to our grandchildren. We had three generations staying in Sofia’s beautiful and comfortable home with plenty of space to spread out. Sofia’s kitchen is a dream and has plenty of counter space to prepare a delicious Saturday afternoon meal, and we took full advantage. Sofia also let us stay on a moments notice because our VRBO rental cancelled us the morning we were all supposed to be arriving there. We appreciate Sofia’s quick response to our need. Sofia’s rental was much bigger and nicer to accommodate all of us.

Went for a fishing weekend with my brother. We were both very happy with the place. Boat launch for great pond was a 3 minutes drive and the boat launch for long pond was 7 minutes away which was nice so we could fish multiple lakes easily. Had dock access from great pond for the boat and was the end of channel that was well marked. We were able to dock the boat overnight there were no issues. A few places to eat nearby with access via boat (just a bit further up the channel with public dock behind the post office) and are also walkable. Clean space and great view. Beds were very comfortable for an Airbnb. Would recommend, great value, will stay here again if we come back to Belgrade.

We loved Lauren and Dave’s cabin. The pond is beautiful, the deck is amazing and the interior of the cabin is really nice. We loved eating dinner on the deck with an awesome view of the pond and the cabin was well equipped for a family with a toddler. We enjoyed their local recommendations for restaurants, ice cream, and day trips. Overall it was a wonderful getaway where we could go out and explore or stick to the cabin when we wanted. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

This cozy cottage was definitely the right choice for our family. The location of it was perfect for the things we already had planned to do in the area, with a beautiful scenic view. The cottage was accommodating and had everything we could’ve needed asides from tooth brushed and toothpaste. The host was quite responsive as well. I would most definitely recommend this cottage as a place to stay for anyone!

I enjoyed my stay at Jill’s place! Place was super clean and had clearly very new furnishings. The lake is visible from the place even with a house in between. Jill’s place was initially hard to find until I actually read her instructions and reminded myself about what the place looked like. Jill was very friendly and responsive when I asked a couple of questions. Thanks for letting my family and I share your home, Jill!

My friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay here! The host was very friendly and responsive, we had everything we needed and more left in the house for us. We even got to enjoy some tea each night from the kitchen. Our host was very intentional in setting up the house, we truly couldn’t ask for a better stay. We would definitely return for another trip :)

This is a very clean, nicely appointed place to visit Waterville or Colby College from. The place had the fun look you see in the pictures and had everything we needed. Comfy bed and comfy futon. We will likely be back.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Nothing fancy but better than advertised view of the lake. Only noise we encountered were loons so if you want peace and quiet, this place works. Basically you turn into the Augusta Country Club parking lot which is the road to the colony of homes Mark's place is in. A little tough to see the road sign at night. Will rent again and would love to play ACC, looks like a great course.

Was exactly what we needed for our visit to Waterville. Easy access to town, Colby, and downtown. Located in among other residences. Comfortable place to stay for one or two people if a place in Waterville needed. No complaints from me.
