It is in the piney woods-very quiet, peaceful. There are activities for you or do nothing. You are on dirt roads, do not bring a low-riding vehicle. Very close to Lake Nacogdoches & not far from town. The owners have plans to renovate parts of it & I look forward to seeing the changes!

The spot was great, cozy, groovy, clean and the pond right outside was pretty dope. Great place to relax and unwind with a partner or just a solo getaway. Would recommend to friends and enemies alike.

The hosts were very personable and accommodating! I felt right at home from the very beginning. I stayed in the Treehouse cabin which was perfect for my solo vacation. Check-in process was straightforward with no extra time wasted so you can get right to enjoying the property. If you’re escaping the chaos of city life Stag Leap is the place to be. Extremely private, top tier cleanliness, and an amazing view to top it off!

It was best relaxing and peaceful place we have stayed at in years we will come back again when we get back in that part of Texas

It was in a beautiful setting with other little cabins. Well maintained grounds and interior. Didn't take advantage of the hot tub because of the humidity, but loved that it was available. The interior was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Too bad the shower was so tiny (not!). I think 6 people could have showered in there and still not touched. Loved the record player and eclectic selection of records which sounded lovely. Thank you, April, for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend staying there. We would like to try another cabin because you have so many available.

Our stay was amazing and peaceful, the hot tub was awesome! The previous comment about lack of streaming capabilities has since been fixed, the TV and internet works just fine! 10/10 recommend for a private getaway!

Nice, comfortable stay for a night when attending a wedding at a nearby ranch. My kids loved the donkeys, horses, and cats. Host texted me their names and left us vanilla wafers to feed the donkeys.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Talisa was very kind and always responsive. The house was very homie and clean. I loved the thoughtful baskets of products incase we forgot something. Everything we needed was there.

This cabin was secluded from the rest of the RV park. It was right on the water which was perfect for us to be able to have our kayaks on the bank and be able to get up and get right on the water to go fishing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we return to the area.

This is a wonderful, peaceful little cabin. My dogs enjoyed the property and I loved the quiet. Only negative is the mattress is stiff. Other than that, I love this cabin.

My friend and I enjoyed 3 nights sitting on the dock swings fishing. It was a beautiful location. The cabin was quite nice and had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. Nice shower. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both for a great stay!

This is my 2nd time staying at the cabins on Lake Naconiche. It is a private area with a beautiful view of the lake. We spend most of our time at the beach area which is just a 3 min drive from the property. Lori is very kind and responsive with clear instructions. I look forward to another stay next year also!

Old sawmill village is my favorite place to relax and recharge.

Great little quaint cabin with near access to a lake. Cabin sits on a property with three other cabins near by. The cabin was cozy and matched its description well. We didn’t spend much time there, but this would be a great place to come and disconnect. Very weak cell service in the area (for TMobile at least) and no wifi so a perfect place to unplug.

Great stay close to town and Davy Crockett national forest. Highly recommend!!!
