Offering spacious accommodation for 4 people in two bedrooms. The cottage is a brilliant bolt hole - acting as a gateway for the borders The cottage itself is very well laid out and extremely well equiped The hosts are very pleasant to deal with and had great communication throughout our stay - but never intrusive The hosts welcome you with a number of goodies to get you started and make available other option upon request such as breakfasts and meals The farm itself is organic and the hosts actively encourage you to explore All in all this is an excellent choice for a couple exploring the borders and want somewhere quiet and relaxing to stay Highly recommended Val & Bernie

Myself and my husband were visiting friends in Newstead, and were delighted to find Erin’s studio flat, that was just a few minutes drive away. We really enjoyed how beautifully designed the flat was. This created a calm & cosy space, that was a joy to be in. It was great to be hidden away, but also very close to shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside. Erin was very helpful & responsive, to any queries we had. I would highly recommend this beautiful flat to anyone visiting the area.

Sara’s place was perfect. It was super clean and very welcoming. Sara arranged for us to check in early as our flight to Edinburgh arrived very early in the morning. This was a game changer for us and we really appreciated how accommodating sara was in being agreeable to our request. The kitchen was well supplied, bathroom very clean and modern, bed extremely comfy, parking very easy. We particularly liked how conveniently located the suite was to the main village square. We highly recommend staying at Sara’s if you are in the Kelso area.

Surrounded by sheep and nature at the end of the world, incredible peace and quiet. Starting point for sightseeing and hiking tours. If you like that, you're in good hands there. I wouldn't dare to light the small fireplace.

We stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with our 2yr old and 11 yr old. We all had a fantastic time and felt extremely relaxed. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and lots of little walks to explore from the cabin. On the first evening we arrived we were greeted kindly by Maggie's son who told us about the local area and made us feel at home. The wood burning hot tub was preheated and ready for us to get in (lots of wood provided )The view from the cabin was amazing and within 5 minutes we saw multiple hares and a deer. We then enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot tub looking at the stars and saw a barn owl from the woods flying over us. The next day we enjoyed playing at the tennis courts provided, enjoyed a local walk to the river and the hosts son introduced us to their "teddy bear" lambs. The next morning we visited a local cafe and play area recommended by the Maggie which was fantastic. Best Airbnb stay we've ever stayed at!
