Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kealakekua

Wendy’s place was amazing for us. We loved watching the surfers in the morning while we drank our coffee. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! One day we took an uber to the beach and used the chairs and umbrella. They were great! My husband is a larger man and fit nicely in their beach chairs. Another thing to note is there location. It’s walkable to town but down the road so you get that peace and quiet. We had an amazing time and would recommend staying here!

Place was a great location. You can see the ocean from the balcony. Parking spot was very convenient which is a big thing in Kona. The building is mostly made of concreate and that makes for a very quiet condo. I don't think we head anyone the entire time. Pool area was nice with plenty of seating. We enjoyed our stay here.

Marina's condo was exactly as listed and shown. It was clean with up dated amenities and in a great location! The pool and hot tub were clean and beautiful. Everyone in the area was very friendly and instructions for check in and out were very easy.

Everything was perfectly fine, we stayed a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed the Pineapple Express! Pretty house and surrounding. Albert gave us some recommendations for activities and food, which was very helpful!

Would definitely stay in this condo again. Has been updated since the pictures. Bathroom is newly renovated and stainless steel refrigerator instead of what is pictured Very close to everything but still very, very quiet and peaceful. Michael thought of everything from a welcoming gift, to everything you could possibly need for your days at the beach. Chairs, umbrella, pool, noodles, boogie boards, cooler, and everything for snorkeling. The air conditioners kept us plenty cool. Short walk to the pool and hot tub. Michael totally took care of us.

Denise was very responsive and helped navigate any requests and questions I had. the place was really good. had a good view although it had a couple of buildings slightly ahead to either side of it. the community felt safe and clean.

Great location. Close to everything. Had everything we needed. Watched surfer surfing every morning. Highlight of the stay, saw a turtle at the beach right in front of the house two mornings in a row.

Everything was amazing! The condo had everything we needed and check in and out was super easy. The place was super clean and ready for our arrival. It’s super close to Kailua-Kona town for shopping and food or drinks. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Kona side of the island!

Wonderful stay, very accommodating even for short trips!

We adored staying in the Treetop getaway - I wish we could have stayed longer! The space was well-organized, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the outdoor seating was so lovely in the mornings! The beach gear that we borrowed for the day was amazing!! We felt so cozy and relaxed in this spot -- and the hosts are super friendly.

We had a great stay. Our kitty had a great time watching the birds and hunting for geckos. The location was perfect and the unit had everything we needed. Rosalba was the best host we have ever had, helping us out with a last minute change in our stay. She communicated with us regularly and everything was very clear. We stayed at this unit 3 years ago when we first landed on island. It was a perfect place for us as we waited to get our home to set up.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Watch gorgeous sunsets with panaromic voews pf the ocean right from the deck! Great snorkeling close by if you're comfortable getting in from rocks. Private pool to enjoy when you've had enough salt water for the day.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The property was stunning, with a perfect blend of style and comfort. What really made it special, though, was the attention to detail - from the cozy touches to the thoughtful amenities, it truly felt like home. The private setting was a huge bonus, allowing us to relax and unwind in peace. We loved the little things, like the fully stocked kitchen and the welcoming touches throughout the home. Overall, we'd highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Lorelle was there for us from the start, help to navigate, places to go… Always attentive to what we need. Beach towels and snorkeling gear is there and available to use.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!

The condo was beautiful - a complete remodel with top of the line appliances and a gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms. And the view of the ocean from the back patio - unbeatable! Having our morning coffee while watching the waves crash was exactly as we had imagined it. We would never stay anywhere else!

Suzanne’s place was located close to one of our favorite snorkeling spots - Kahalu’u Bay. It’s just a short drive away, as is the KTA Superstore. You can walk to the Outrigger hotel to watch the sunset and see manta rays drawn to the lights in the water just off shore at night.

Jan and Cami were very nice to deal with. Their condo is in an amazing location. They thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Very well organized space. It was clean and inviting.

This is a great place to stay if you are exploring the Kona side of the island. The home is beautiful and well appointed. It was so peaceful and relaxing! We would definitely stay with them again.

Great location we walked every day up and down the strip to different restaurants into the beach other sites Walmart, and Safeway are about a five minute drive or about a 10 minute walk Apartment was a good size in newly renovated

Part of a condo group, next to (unpretentious) Beaches restaurant - which locals stated was "the best in Kona" - and only steps away from Magic Sands Beach. View out the double wide slider was to clear ocean surf, full of yellow tang and black trigger fish visible in most swells. There is no A/C but the fans (there were 5 but we really only need the two large ceiling fans) kept it very comfortable.) This was April and daytime temperatures were low 80's. All in all a very nice place hanging out or as a home base. Great location for Kona and the beaches north. About .1 mile to La'aloa St, which takes you up to Hwy 11 (bypass highway for north or south travel. I recommend for a group of 2.

We had a lovely stay at Mary’s place. The home is nestled in a lush, serene setting and was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Mary and her property manager were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking evening walks to catch the sunset over the ocean at the nearby park. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and we loved the open-air layout—it felt like a home away from home. Waking up to the sight and sounds of the ocean from the upstairs bedroom is something we’ll miss. Thank you, Mary, for graciously sharing your beautiful space with us! The memories our family made at this home are something we'll always hold dearly.
