Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kea-Kythnos

We had a lovely weekend with our family at Despinas beautiful house. It is very spacious and bright, with a lovely garden and tennis/basketball courts, just perfect for our kids to run around. The beach is a stones throw away, and quaint restaurants also within walking distance. Despina was a graceful and helpful host. Would love to return!

The Blue Relax was easy to find, it is even listed on Google maps. The place was as described on Airbnb, Giannis helped us have a smooth check-in and check out process, he provided lots of tips about the area and he was responsive to our needs. The location is calm and a short drive away from the nearest town and the sea. All in all, a very nice stay.

Absolutely beautiful spot, and wonderful, kind people who look after your every need. It was so peaceful at night, and we loved the decor and the inside and outside spaces. Many thanks!

What a lovely villa south of Athens. Alexander and Helena have a truly special home. The views are beautiful and the setting extremely peaceful. You will need a rental car if you choose to stay here, but it is worth it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. Athens is not far, Sounion is about 30 minutes, and Lavrio about 15 minutes. There are many beaches nearby, and many markets to purchase food and other goods. As others noted, there is a short dirt road to access the villa. It is not a problem. If we ever return to the area, I would absolutely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Alexia welcomed us with great kindness and made herself available. The villa is sumptuous, the decoration is very tasteful and the view splendid. Thank you again for your welcome.

Good house and friendly, helpful and flexible host.

I stayed 1 night. It was what I was looking for. it's for one or two persons just to relax a little and sleep between their outside activities.

Awasome location, big house (we stay with 2 families, 5 children the oldest at 9 years), clean and modern facilities, spend a lot of hours at the ca 20x5 m pool, had dinner at the "mezedopoleion" tavern of Theodoros, 5 min. car drive into the village, Theodoros manage for supply of fresh fish on pre order of 1 day or dishes like pastizio for the kids at reasonable prices, 5 min. car drive to the excellend beach of legraina 15 to poseidon temple. Easy internet success, cable tv (offered but not used) Recommendable at any times!

Don’t tell too many - this is a real gem.

We were very satisfied by Eleutheria’s flat. Great location, in Chora, next to the square with all the bars and restaurants. Lively area, noise was not a problem. The flat was very comfortable and clean, would highly recommend.

The cottage was perfect for two people. Everything like in the photos. Crazy tranquility.

Beautiful house on the Saronida hills with beautiful sea views and sunset views. Great for a large group of people. Rooms were plenty, spacious and clean. Pool was nice. Only thing is that it’s not very walkable and very far from Athens city centre, but we didn’t have much trouble getting a taxi (using freenow). Close to some good restaurants and groceries although not walkable. Host was responsive and helpful. Overall a great stay!

A lovely place where to stay in Kythnos. Matina was gracious and helpful, meeting us at the port to help us with the suitcases. The apartment is airy, spacious, and pleasantly cool despite the island’s sun. Hot water, jam and butter in the fridge, and friendly cats to greet us at the door. Top location for exploring and watching the sunset.

While everything was great , we wouldn't recommend the spot to people who don't have jeeps & have young children . There are 2 driveways which are dirt roads . One dangerous , narrow with bulky stones, the other lightly paved, but we recommend him because he's even wider. Anyway, the house and its view were wonderful .

The villa was absolutely beautiful and my family and I had an incredible time staying over. We especially enjoyed how clean and nice the pool provided was. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Greece.

Ada's villa is just amazing! We spent almost a week, and we loved it. Walking distance to a private and beautiful beach, great pool, balconies with ocean view, comfortable kitchen and much more. Ada was super responsive, assisted us with everything we needed. The place is close to many beaches, restaurants and activities and this was for sure one of the best listing's we've been at. I would recommend this place for everyone that seeks a peaceful gateway and a great vacation

an absolute must for those who love peace and privacy, a beautiful place with a magnificent view over the bay. Besides lounging and swimming at the villa, you can certainly also visit nice places and restaurants. If you are a little trained, you can venture out on the old marked hiking trails that take you to beautiful viewpoints and secluded beaches. The host Nikos is always available and also gives all kinds of useful tips. In short: everything for a Top Holiday!

Panos, Oksana's husband welcomed us and was available for questions or others throughout. The complex is in Pasha Bay, not far from the centrality of Lavrio and a short walk to the beach. A car allows you to visit the area, go to the taberns and make the most beautiful beaches in the area, bikes could also do the trick but the main road does not allow you to drive with children. The pool is open from 10 to 13h and from 17h30 to 20h which is quite common in Greece (the world stops during nap time, but it may be that some neighbors fans of gardening do not stop). The house matches the photos and description very well, nothing is missing and everything works. The terrace enjoys the scent of flowers and the view from the Aegean. We highly recommend it!

Amazing place with a great host. We were a group of 6 ppl and the yellow house was perfect for us - especially for the kids. We loved the pool and the surroundings. Sotiria was very helpful with tips and recommendations and very responsive to all of our needs. We will def come back again!

There were 13 of us as a family in the accommodation. Overall, everything was great and we were able to spend very nice days in the villa. The only points we noticed: - No key for the bathroom on the ground floor and upper floor. We also had guests there and with so many people it was unpleasant. The host himself only noticed this when we checked in. The last visitors were held responsible for many defects. But nothing that we found to be a shame was replaced or repaired. - Sometimes there were problems with the hot water for the shower after midnight. Even after trying for a long time, there was no warm water at night and we had to wait until morning. This was not so optimal, as there were so many of us and I wanted to get ready for my wedding in the evening. - We had 2 baby beds, but the mattress was missing for one and we did not get a replacement. Otherwise, everything was great and we would recommend the villa.
