Excellent place to stay when visiting Mishima or Numazu. Great host as well very helpful.

Airi was very friendly and helpful, we stayed at her apartment, which was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea. The surroundings were spectacular but maybe were bit difficult to move by foot, but there were busses that connected to shimoda station.

This was the best host I have EVER stayed with. Picked me up from the station and brought me home. Drove me back after check out. Had free bike rentals. All this saved me money, time, and hassle. Then during the day I got a flat tire on the bicycle and he came and picked me up! Asked if I was okay and gave me another bicycle. I was thinking he would be upset I messed up the bike. Went above and beyond in every aspect and was the best host you could ask for. Very kind and non transactional with his help. 100 out of 10 stars.

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

We had a very good stay at Ichiro's, the accommodation was easy to find, barely 10 minutes' walk from Shizuoka station, the stairs were a little dilapidated to climb with our 3 big suitcases but it was fine. The accommodation itself is very beautiful, very large, we slept very well, it was quiet at night, but be careful when walking in the kitchen, I stumbled several times. The shower was also nice and large! Communicative and proactive hosts, I recommend 100% 😊

It was a very nice stay. First of all, the boss carefully prepared the welcome card, and it can be seen that the two of them are committed to running the two hotels. The owner is Chinese, and he knows our needs very well, has prepared the usual temperature water, and I recommend a good seafood self-help. The room's facilities are new and clean, and the boss's enthusiasm makes people feel at home.Next time in the autumn, I hope I can still stay in such a good room.

The location is only about 10 minutes on foot from the station, the setting of the house is very well equipped, the environment is also very good, it only takes 1 minute to get to the sea, it is a pity, the weather is not good for the few days to stay, and you do not see the beautiful sea.

This was a spacious, private, villa with great views of Mt. Fuji! The sauna was excellent to have available and the house was well-stocked with necessities. The host was incredibly responsive when we had a couple of questions.

The host's wife was very kind and took the initiative to pick us up.The accommodation is on a hill, with a big slope, and you can see the sea from the terrace of the house, which is great for holidays.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in! The host is very warm and hospitable, the room is very large and exquisite, very tasteful, completely exceeded expectations.The host explained the house in detail and clearly when we checked in, and the introduction to the surrounding area was also very good. He recommended us to see the Fireworks Festival, helped us choose the mode of transportation, and recommended delicious restaurants around.The room view is very good, and I saw a rainbow over the sea on the first day of my stay.Toiletries are all available, the marble bathtub is very spacious, and the bath is very comfortable.The music activity room is very interesting!Great value for multiple people, and two couples can be guaranteed good privacy. It was a lovely and open house where the children were overjoyed. We stayed as a family of 4, and both children and parents enjoyed it without any inconvenience. I was grateful for the preparation of tableware, towels, futons, etc. that were not a problem even for a large number of people. I cooked my own food, but I regretted not bringing any seasoning. The road to the house is narrow and bumpy, and I was worried for a moment, but if you go slowly even in the rain, it's no problem.

Although the exact location is slightly far from major downtown areas, it is easy to travel. The room was very clean, had many amenities, and they were very clear with communication and expectations. Would recommend!

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Easily one of the best places I've stayed at in Japan. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the condo that we stayed in was so unnecessarily spacious it felt like luxury.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
