Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen. Oguri ist ein sehr freundlicher und professioneller Gastgeber, der seine Unterkunft tadellos sauber und ordentlich führt. Wir haben es dort sehr genossen. Nur haben wir die Distanz ins Zentrum Kyōtos etwas unterschätzt, da man mit dem Zug dorthin knapp 45min benötigt. Alles andere was man benötigt findet man in direkter Umgebung. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und wir kommen gerne wieder.✌️

Oguri's place is a short walk from Kintetsu's Kutsukawa station, which made it a wonderful place to stay for my time in the Uji/Kyoto area. There was some road noise from the active street, but earplugs were more than enough to cover me during the night (even when I am a very light sleeper) Oguri was kind and very proactive with getting me checked in, even when I was very late with my check-in and late messages.

I loved staying here, Oguri was very proactive in making sure I knew the directions to the unit. He also has a great lists of recommendations in the nearby area, personally I tried his favorite ramen shop and I loved it!! Do not hesitate to book with Oguri!

Loved the room! nice and spacious compared to other places we stayed in Tokyo and Osaka. location is a bit out of the way from tourist spots but you can access everything you need to from nijo station or via bus.

Great place to stay a few nights in Kyoto.

Nice, very clean room with a central location- walkable to kyoto station and other train/bus stops. Nice to have kitchen facilities and a table in a hotel environment. Despite the central location it was well insulated from the outside world and therefore very peaceful. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Great place to stay in Kyoto. Bus stations are close and the location is a little far from the main areas but it was nice and peaceful. Bus stations ran all night so no problem having late night outs

I had a wonderful stay at Toki House. The location was perfect—nestled in a quiet, local neighborhood that gave me a sense of everyday life in Kyoto. I was warmly greeted by the host at check-in, who kindly walked me through how to enter both the house and the unit. The host was responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. The unit itself was very comfortable. I especially appreciated the tatami mats in the bedroom and the high-quality futon mattresses, which came with two types of pillows to suit different preferences. I slept incredibly well each night. Inside, the layout was both thoughtful and functional. The toilet and bathing areas were separate, each with their own sinks, and the unit had a total of four sinks! Also loved the small heated table with a blanket. Near the front desk of the house, there were complimentary large water bottles, a few varieties of rice crackers, and other small but thoughtful essentials. A peaceful and well-equipped base for exploring Kyoto.

Tatsuya’s place in Kyoto was clean, well-equipped, and affordable and overall, it served its purpose for our stay. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, even leaving us chocolates and a some suggested activities, which was a thoughtful touch. The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. The location is about a 10–12 minute walk from the train station, which can feel much longer on a hot, humid day, especially when pulling luggage. One thing to note is that the apartment is behind an adult club, which made the area feel a bit sketchy at night. While the price was great, the surrounding environment wasn’t ideal for my personal comfort.

Second time staying at Toki and it’s just perfect for me. Quiet location within walking distance of sights and restaurants and access to public transport for getting further afield. More than enough space for a couple of friends sharing. Will always be my first choice accommodation for Kyoto!

extraordinary host, helpful with check ins and other matters during the stay. found my lost phone :)). location: near sukiya, macs and 3 kombinis. but a bit harder to get to (need take bus then walk) but this makes it rather peaceful. washing machine is free to use but dryer takes a while to dry. room is clean, pillows and sheets are clean. toilet clean. no complains. room just nice for 3 ppl. able to open 3 big luggages (opened in dining room, washing room and bedroom)

it was a bit of a trek from the train station, opting for the bus made for a more comfortable. The room was impressively spacious and clean, big hot tub. One minor hiccup, the hair dryer's power was lacking, but this seemed consistent in several places I stayed during my trip.

京都四条からのアクセスが良い。部屋には4つ2段ベットがあるが、若干上段のベッドは上りにくい。男女混合の部屋であるが、シャワーは部屋の中にある。

你会遇到很多外国友人，可以与友好的室友外语交流，来自天南海北的趣事。价格很便宜，相比附近上千日元一天的酒店，仅需200多一晚。男女混住，6人一间的宿舍上下铺，建议独自或结伴前往的男子入住。离三年坂和鸭川很近。睡眠衰弱或睡眠浅的朋友建议谨慎入住。因为白天太累～晚上打呼噜，被室友说了，不过因此交到一个好朋友。最后留一句，前台小姐姐真可爱。
