Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Situated 25m from the main road and walking distance from many delicious restaurants. This apartment has its own fully functioning kitchen with everything you will need to cook up a storm or you could order food and sit by the fire for an evening in. It also has its own private courtyard with shutter doors that can be opened all the way to invite the outside in.

I had the best time staying in Marcelle’s place. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and it’s an added bonus that there is a gym and pool in the complex as well. It’s on the main street in Kalk Bay and close to all the best restaurants and coffee shops. Would love to come back soon again!

Our little getaway to Nina's beautiful place in Kalk Bay became the perfect escape. We weren't just blessed with the most beautiful weather but also with the most conveniently located accommodation we could have asked for. our car was securely parked at the premises while we walked everywhere, no matter the time of day. Nina's place is designed with love and attention to detail. The afternoon sun is warming up the space and makes one feel very comfortable, either on the couch or in the little courtyard. we definitely had a wonderful time and like to come back soon. thank you for everything!

Firstly, what a view! Probably one of the best in South Africa! During both night and day. The hosts were friendly and helpful and responsive. All my needs were met, bet was comfy and so was the massive beanbag. Fishhoek beach was a stroll away and so was Kalkbay central in the other direction. Highly recommended if you want a super chill place to stay. Did I mention the view?!

Peter's place in Kalk Bay is remarkable. Set above Kalk Bay, it is a short walk to the main road with wonderful views of the tidal pools, harbour and surrounding mountains. The accommodation is spacious, well appointed and very private. Peter was a very accommodating host. I had a few special requirements which he went out of his way to attend to. I hope to visit again soon.

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and very well equipped house. Kalkbay is literally on your doorstep and you do not have to drive anywhere after parking on the first day. The locals' early morning cold water plunge in the Dalebrook tidal pool can be watched from the stoep with coffee from the downstairs deli :-). thank you for sharing your home with us.
