Villa holiday rentals in Kalamaki Beach

A wonderful villa that lacks nothing! Very nice and modernly furnished. Everything, inside and out, is like the pictures, which definitely don't promise too much! You have a beautiful view of Kalamaki and the sea. And you definitely have your peace. The city has great local restaurants. Nearby Matala is definitely worth a visit as well! Marina and her team are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the house and landlord! We say thank you!

We loved everything about our stay and really enjoyed the big pool to relax and calm down. It was sunny all day with enough shady places. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures and offers everything you may need during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, enough dishes, glasses and even a sandwich maker 😁 The whole house was perfectly clean! We also would like to mention that the owner was super friendly, helpful, answered our messages fast & gave us some good recommendations where to go for nice beaches etc. The house kinda is in the middle of nowwhere which makes it super quite with a lot of privacy. Still it only takes you around 15 minutes to beaches and bigger shops, restaurants and so on which was perfect for us. We would love to come back again!

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place, House have everything needed in an amazing place near beautiful Agios Georges . Amazing view, the powerful beauty of nature in its full embodiment We loved the window in the bedroom and the rooftop with the swing bed that brought us so much joy. Most importantly – Matthaios, the wonderful host. It was such a pleasure to sit in the evening under the tree, drink raki, and talk about life. It’s always a joy to meet good people

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

The villa was a dream! Super nice, clean and very modernly furnished. We felt totally comfortable! There was washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioners. Everything Airbnb's holiday heart desires. Check-in was impeccable and Manos was generally super nice and helpful. We would always come back!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Crete and absolutely fell in love with the place. The home is so cozy and has everything you need from the moment you walk in. Maria was super helpful and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Set in a rustic village with amazing views of the skyline, this place is one you should book for sure. Super close to the town of Rethymno, with many shops, restaurants, and beaches a short drive away.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We were there as a family with the grandparents. All three generations liked it very much. The heated pool is an absolute plus at the end of May and the whirlpool right next to it makes the outdoor area perfect. The grounds are spacious, there is plenty of shade and the view is amazing. The protected grill area is perfect for breakfast and dinner. However, the first-class service is particularly noteworthy. Olga was always available, the jammed courtyard gate was repaired within half an hour and two employees come every morning, take the garbage, clean the outside area and even the grill. There are many very good restaurants and all encounters were positive and friendly, we liked it very much.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Fantastic villa with beautiful pool and view. Downstairs at the sea you can watch nice snorkeling and fishing thanks to the super clear water. We and our children enjoyed it. First village is 30 minutes drive so provide plenty of groceries.

We really enjoyed our stay in Thomais´resort. Thomais did everything to make us feel welcome and welcomed us with homemade cooking and wine. Located on the mountain top the distance to shopping and restaurants is several kilometers, but excellent taxi service solved this so we dropped our plans to rent a car.

The Villa was spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to get us started. From everyday essentials like tea, coffee, water, and soft drinks, to beer, kitchen supplies, and plenty of fresh towels, the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and stress free. Theodora was very responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, offering great local recommendations in Pitsidia village, ‘The Bakery’, ‘Raftis’ etc and other beautiful Cretan restaurants in nearby villages, all which were very much appreciated and easy to get to by car also. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A true gem!

Really magical place. Just a stone's throw from the village center. The place was comfy, well thought out, clean, the views were amazing and Monica was very kind and flexible. I would absolutely recommend this place :)

We had an amazing week at the Villa with 3 generations of our family, 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of space for us all and plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The Villa really is a home from home. The road to the Villa is unfinished so if hiring a car pick an 4x4 or SUV. You can manage without a car as there is a supermarket 10 min walk away and a few restaurants in the village. The Villa has an amazing view, and we experienced stunning sunsets looking out to the sea.

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our adult children and an older parent, and it exceeded our expectations. Perched high above Moires, it offers stunning views of the valley and distant mountains. The villa is exactly as shown, with a fantastic outdoor pool, lovely gardens, and an outdoor kitchen featuring a gas grill and wood-fired pizza oven. Inside, everything was clean and well-presented, complete with a wonderful welcome pack. All the rooms were just as advertised, with quality linens and towels. George, the owner, was incredibly attentive, communicating effectively and even cooking delicious Cretan meals for us on several evenings. He also shared great recommendations for local trips, restaurants, and beaches. I can’t recommend this villa enough—it’s perfect, and I can’t wait to return!

Voula is an exelend host. From the first time we arrived we had a warm welcome and given exactly details about the house and the area. The house was amazing at the top of the hill, with a stunning view of the mountains and the sea. Also, it was fully equipped and clean. I high recommend this place for someone who want to relax, enjoy the view and spent his vacations close to the area of kamilari and matala. I will definitely visit this place again sometime.
