Apartment holiday rentals in Kalamaki Beach

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

This is a lovely apartment. It is on the first floor up of a modern, well-designed, two-story house, with a big balcony. It is a 1-2 minute walk to the sea and a 5 minute walk to the centre of the waterfront bars and restaurants. The owner and his support staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice, spacious, stylish and quiet apartment. The old town is only about 2 minutes away by foot. Easy and prompt communication. We immediately felt at home and would be very happy to come back.

Lovely apartment villa, walking distance from the beach. Well furnished and very clean. The hosts where always really responsive and on hand. We where travelling with a baby and the place had a cot and high chair. The pool was lovely although due to the time of year we didn't use it that often. Lovely sundeck to sit on and look at the Seaview. Also equipped with beach umbrella and mats which is really useful! Close to the amenities that Kalamaki offers - supermarket, restaurants etc. but is a slightly quieter area, which was nice.

Very nice studio overlooking the sea and mountains. There is another studio for rent in the same house right next door and an apartment downstairs. The landlady is very nice and made sure we didn't miss anything. The place was very clean and you can walk to the beach, or to the taverns in the village. However, a car is an advantage (parking right in front of the house).

We were so warmly received in person. In addition, delicious things that were prepared for us. The cheese is incredibly good! Thank you so much! The accommodation was perfect for us. Everything you need, super clean, easy to keep tidy, yet nicely furnished, the location is totally quiet. We enjoyed the morning sun on the balcony and the shade with a pleasant breeze in the evening. The cleaning service brings complete relaxation. You don't have to worry about anything - a dream! The beach is really 1 minute walk away and is beautiful. The hosts even provided a parasol. There are loungers with umbrellas from the city to rent. At the entrance to the accommodation, you can shower your feet after a day at the beach. The beach promenade is full of good restaurants. A bakery and supermarket are also around the corner. We'll be back for sure!

The accommodation is very comfortable, practical and well decorated. Close to better places to visit (Matala, Phaistos...). Michalos is a friendly, active and very accommodating host! I would recommend it!

Although we booked for 3 people and it was only prepared for 2, the host was very quick and helpful in solving the problem! Very good room and conditions :)

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! Highly recommend! Beautiful modern clean luxury apartment that feels like a home. Private driveway and parking. The apartment and views look even better than the photographs. Great location. Fully stocked home with all the essentials and more. The kitchen has everything you would need and more. Stavros is the perfect host. Everything was as advertised in the listing.

Giannis is a very invested, responsive and discreet host. We really enjoyed the welcome with a pastry (very good!), the oranges in the fridge as well as the drinks made available. The environment is very pleasant and the location is ideal, quiet but close to the promenade with restaurants. If there were any questions, Giannis was always available as well as to make recommendations to us. Listing is as described. However, it should not be too big for the night part and the bathroom but otherwise everything was very good!

It was beautiful. We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Chrisoula's. The view from the roof terrace is great, everything looks like in the photos. Chrisoula was always available to us, always helped quickly when we needed something and also regularly provided us with delicacies. We had various extra requests because we were traveling with a small child, which Chrisoula more than fulfilled (securing the stairs with a gate, cot and high chair). Thank you for everything. We will be happy to come back.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We are now back home and have had some time to reflect. From check-in to check-out, it was simply amazing. We felt right at home. Traditional food was regularly left at the door by the family. At the beginning, we were also surprised by this. We had a great rental car and drove around the area a bit. The place is perfect for that. Approximately 1 hour from Heraklion Airport and everything else is accessible. Would we book again and again.

With our arrival in Crete, we couldn’t have be greeted with a more perfect stay than at this apartment just outside the centre of town. Oreo Travel presented, and delivered, a spacious & contemporary environment that had everything we needed and more. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and space & the addition of a private pool/jacuzzi was the cherry on top. Coming back to an air conditioned space was something we couldn’t get enough of. With a short walk to local shops and the old town, we found it was the perfect location to be private in the evenings but accessible to local arenas in the day. That comfort to know we didn’t have to go far for anything was very useful. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable experience with this property. It was clean, comfortable, well furnished & with great amenities to make our stay all that more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

Fabulous Manolis and his family were wonderful, they were incredibly kind when meeting us upon arrival and very helpful throughout our stay - always responding to queries quickly and offering useful advice about the local area. The apartment is in a great location being a short walk from the sea, shops and the old town. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, with the fort to the east and coastline to the west. The apartment was clean and well stocked offering all we needed for a week long holiday.

This was our first holiday abroad in over 10 years and first for our daughter (9 yoa) and it was a perfect stay! We love Rethymno, especially the old town and the location of the suites was perfect for us. The people of the town are super friendly and kind, and especially so to children, which is lovely. There are many amazing places to eat, drink and enjoy on the doorstep. Athina was an incredible, kind and very helpful host. She arranged our airport transfers and even a late check out with short notice. The apartment was incredibly clean and airy, with air con, great facilities and lovely sofa bed, we felt very comfortable and at home. The yard area and pool were a great addition to the suites and we used it daily. Thank you so much, we hope to stay again in the future!

This place is beautiful! We enjoyed our stay especially watching sunrises with coffee on the balcony and watching sunsets with some wine. The views are stunning. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay and was quiet when we needed some rest. It was about a 20 minute walk to old town and had good sidewalks and lighting. Parking in Rethymno can be challenging so having a spot was very convenient. There is a little beach across the street for a quick dip in the sea. It is a great spot for venturing to other locations. I highly recommend checking out the artist town of Margarites. Nikos was a great host, very easy to reach and provided some lovely recommendations.
