Alabasta accommodation, (ground floor), is located in Oakura Village; 15 minutes from New Plymouth on Taranaki's unique Surf Highway 45. On the main road within walking distance to village amenities including cafes, Vegan restaurant, 4Square grocery shop and the local pub. Alabasta is only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Oakura Beach. This is the ideal location for short or long stays with modern and fresh apartment-style accommodation.

The Black Yurt

MAX OCCUPANCY 2 Adults & 2 Children under 12 The Black Yurt is situated within Oakura. The surf beach, a number of cafes/restaurants, a pharmacy and a convenience store are within walking distance. Several hiking trails can be found nearby. Accessible via a private staircase, this yurt offers you a comfortable king-size bed, lounge area and kitchenette. The bath and shower are outdoors. A separate small building contains the toilet.

Our recently renovated 80 year old farm cottage is located in the beautiful Taranaki countryside with lovely views of the mountain and the sea and close to New Plymouth and Oakura surf beach with great restaurants, pubs and cafes within a 10km radius. We are located 2 kms from the coast with excellent beach walking, swimming and surfing and close to the world renowned Pukeiti Rhododendron Gardens.
