Holiday rentals with a patio in Kailua-Kona

We had an amazing stay at Annabel’s condo! Kona was absolutely lovely. We watched a some breathtaking sunsets from the chairs on the beach. It was a beautiful spot and just as pictured except the reclining wood chairs on the balcony are no longer there. We also really appreciated and made great use of the beach chairs, towels, noodles and body boards in the closet. There are also some kids floaty and toys for those coming with kids. Check with the host before you come because the salt water pool was closed the week we stayed for maintenance and we were kind of bummed because we were looking forward to using it. The fresh water pool was available though which was lovely. All and all this was great and would book again!

We immediately felt right at home and welcomed by Regina and Scott. From the well organized binder of information to every amenity one might need, this is THE place to spend a week. When not running out to the sites on the Big Island, this property will meet all your needs. The room was quiet and had easy access. We could easily walk to town or have dinner on our private lanai while watching the sunset. When the staff blows the conch shells at sunset, all will be right in your world.

Outstanding air bnb. My family and I loved staying here. We slept well in the cozy beds, ate well in the amazing kitchen and lounged beautifully all around. I adored the full size ld and brand new washer and dryer! Absolutely a hidden gem of all gems. Well appointed in every way. And we even fell in love with the sweet neighbor pup who thoughtfully greeted us daily. Kenya has a great property (with a spectacular view) and a kindness that is steeped into her home, her instruction, and her hospitality. Absolutely 10/10. We would return!!! Actually I would stay anywhere else on the big island. Thank you so much, Kenya!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Hawaiian Getaway! This condo was absolutely perfect for our trip to Hawaii! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. The view was stunning — waking up to the sound of the ocean and sipping coffee on the lanai felt like a dream. The location is ideal: close to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops, but still peaceful and quiet. The condo was stocked with everything we needed — beach chairs, towels, even a cooler for day trips. The kitchen had all the essentials, and we loved having the option to cook some meals at home. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and local recommendations that made our stay even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base in paradise. We’re already planning our next visit — highly, highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay in Kona. This place was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. Thomas was super proactive and responsive to all of my needs. Check in was easy and clear instruction for check in and check out were provided. Amenities included a wide selection of beach items which was fantastic. Location was wonderful with walkable access to several popular but never crowded beaches. Private parking was a plus. I recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful resort! Everything exceeded our expectations—from the spacious and spotless room to the warm, strong shower that felt amazing after a long day out. You can really feel how much care and thought Greg put into designing the space—it’s cozy, welcoming, and just perfect for a relaxing vacation. The location is unbeatable for snorkeling lovers like us, with some of the island’s best spots just a short drive away. If we ever come back to the Big Island, there’s no doubt—we’ll be staying here again!

Stuart's place is truly home away from home. Every little detail so well thought out, you won't find yourself stepping out to stock up on essentials, be it in the kitchen or bathroom. Be it towels, beach chairs/mats or toys, everything is sanitized and available to borrow. Stuart was very accommodating of my request for early check in, which is a blessing when traveling with a toddler. He even had a high chair ready for us. We enjoyed our evenings in the lanai, and I can't wait to be back soon. Thank you, Stuart.

This place was just perfect, close to town yet away from all the noise. Definitely plan on staying here again! George was very quick to respond and a great host overall. The views of the ocean were amazing. We loved waking up and drinking our coffee on the lanai and enjoying the view. Place was comfortable and spacious.

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

We had a group of six, visiting family and friends. The place was spotless and comfortable. This should be the standard for how clean Airbnb’s should be. Would definitely stay again!

The property is set in a lush and beautiful area and the cottage is very private and secure. The flowers and tropical landscape is everything you want in your Hawaiian vacation. The lanai is large and inviting and a wonderful space to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the nature sounds. Sunsets through the trees are spectacular. Jane was very helpful and accessible at all times. Just a heads up. When stepping out on the lanai from the cottage, be aware of the two steps down. We highly recommend this property to anyone.

This is a beautiful home up in the hills, absolutely gorgeous. It was very relaxing to have coffee on the lanai every morning. It’s also close to stores and activities, and yet is a lovely comfortable respite in the trees from the day’s adventures. Beds are comfy, and it feels like a home away from home. Also, the neighborhood roads are very pretty for walking!

Had a really enjoyable few days stay at the house. This is clearly a house with lots of love, history and almost feels like you're staying with family. Lots of character and very traditionally furnished with unique furniture, artwork ect. Very much suits someone looking for a true Hawaiian experience off the tourist trail. The outdoor area is beautiful and the view is incredible. The hot tub is a nice addition and great for star gazing at night. The kitchen is well equipped with all cooking equipment you would need and the bbq outside was a great. We were slightly worried about the lack of a/c but as the sun goes down, you get a lovely cool sea breeze throughout and we wouldn't have needed it anyway. There is loads of wildlife around the house and area, very pieceful. Thank you

We had a great stay at Megan and Vincent’s place. Perfect four our family of four with two adult children. The art inside is beautiful and really adds to the vibe of the home. But more importantly the surrounding landscaping is stunning with fruit trees, palms and tropical plants surrounding the home. Just a great place to hang out and relax. The beach equipment was great and so helpful. AC was also key when it got hot later in the days. Perfect spot to explore Hawaii’s west coast. Can easily walk to a fun and funky beach with boogie boarding and beach volleyball and a restaurant right on the water. Easy drive to downtown Kona and all its offerings - yet away from the crowds and traffic. Would definitely stay again!

This was the last trip on my 11 night honeymoon across 3 islands and 4 different lodgings. This was by the far the absolute best location and cleanest and best space easily. They had towels for the beach and pool, a cooler, beach chairs, and the lanai has the most incredible view. Heck even the view from the parking space was incredible. We were also able to walk to dinner and lunch every day and the pool was quiet and we constantly had it all to ourselves. Falling asleep to the waves crashing was incredible. The a/c also went out before we checked in and Staci’s handyman was there to install portable units before we were even in town yet - fortunately everything was fixed before we got there so we didn’t end up needing to use them. Check out was a breeze with the only responsibility being take the trash to the trash room. I cannot recommend this place enough, absolutely amazing experience all around.

Evan's stay was very clean and comfortable! The AC kept us nice and cool! The patio offered a shaded, garden view with a privacy screen. The full size refrigerator and box freezer offered us room for our drinks and ice packs. The provided umbrellas were a life saver for the beaches. The stay was within easy walking distance to amazing restaurants and bars.

Keisha's Airbnb is one of the best I've ever been to.🌟 I felt at home in Big Island, where I came on my honeymoon. I think it's much better than my own home! Janell's place was amazing! Super clean and organized! It is well furnished and has beach equipment available to use. We liked that it had a washer and dryer in the unit. The place is spaces for a group of 4 people. The balcony was so relaxing after a long day of walking, it has a visable view of the ocean. The place is located walking distance to restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable bedroom and loft space. The loft bedroom does get a bit warm but the fans did help. Check-in and checkout instructions were simple. We were comfortable and happy on our stay here! We highly recommend Janell's place for your next stay in Kona!

This place is incredible! Ocean view is incomparable. Locations is amazing. We could have stayed for weeks and never used our car. Great sandy beach just downstairs. Endless snorkeling right out your door. We often went out for a snorkel in the morning with just our masks and swimsuits. It was so convenient to leave all of our valuables in the condo and not worry. Then you can just pop upstairs and make lunch and do it all over in the afternoon! Restaurant downstairs has great food! Paranaz was an incredibly accommodating host. She was super responsive and friendly. She helped us out with a lot of special request and never hesitated to help meet our needs. Phenomenal amenities, from beach gear to bathroom supplies. We didn’t need to buy a thing besides groceries. There’s even plenty of cooking condiments, so convenient. Bed was super comfy! Best one out of the five air bnbs we stayed in over three islands. This place will absolutely be our big island go to!

I had a wonderful stay at Kona Aloha in Kailua-Kona! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. The location was absolutely perfect—super convenient to beaches, restaurants, shops, and all the amazing sights the Big Island has to offer. It was the ideal home base for exploring and made my time on the island even more memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a cozy, well-located spot with that true aloha spirit!
